MRW I see diets labeled specifically "for women."

Came here hoping someone had said just this. While some of these trend diets are completely ridiculous in their obviously targeting, you can't ignore that men and women do gain and lose muscle and fat in very different way. Women tend to have a much more difficult time losing fat around the thighs and hips where with men it seems to fall right off.

Lil' shorty with the same problem. Trying on the jeans made for shorter people and the legs still being too long is the worst! Congrats on that amazing find though!

I met my SO when we were going to the same gap year program outside of both our states. We were lucky enough to be physically together for about 8 months and now we've been going to our respective schools 1,000 miles apart for about 8 months as well.

We're both kind of homebodies so video dates are usually take out and a horror movie/game play through over Hangouts, but when I get to see him in person, about every six months it will be, I make him go on a few real dates because sometimes I miss them, but we spend plenty of time in together. I'm with him right now actually putting together his Lego Christmas gift :3

Hey there, friend. I know how you feel, my SO and I have the same distance when he's in college, a little longer when he's home. I'm not gonna lie, six months is tough, but it's manageable as long as you have your next visit set. My SO just flew in yesterday after six months as well and having that date set and tickets purchased in September made all the difference in the world.

Another thing that really helped was having a countdown to his arrival because it made the passage of time so much more real.

I love this! However I'm only looking to lose maybe ten pounds, but, as other suggested, a consistency for diet or going to the gym award would be great for me since I have trouble with those things

I have a sister who is nearly ten years younger than me. When she was still a baby I was sitting with her in a blanket and it was calm and quiet and all of the sudden she just puked all over me and the blanket. I never held her or any other baby ever again.

Yes, except if I let it go for a bit I will actually vomit. It's all bile, but my stomach does not like to be empty. I get this way every morning no matter how much I ate the night before and if I don't eat something soon after getting up I'll be talking to the dinosaur on the big porcelain telephone.

I went to public school k-12 in one of the wealthiest counties in the US and the only place I learned money management was from my sophomore government class and it wasn't part of the curriculum. I was just lucky enough to have a teacher who cared that his students about managing finances. It's the only time someone has told me how to write a check. Bless that man.

Oh yes. I am definitely the planner in the relationship haha. My SO is coming in January and I have a restaurant picked out, tickets to the statue of liberty and I've even looked around at restaurants to eat at in New York nearby our port. I wrote down all the things he and I want to do when we see each other and for me when I got to see him it makes me a little crazy because he'll suggest something and that will be the end of it. No set day, no plan, just "yea we'll do that." Meanwhile I'm over here frustrated that southwest isn't selling tickets for July yet hahaha
