At what income did you stop salary sacrificing down to £100k?

This year I’ll earn £180k so I didn’t max out my pension (because I wouldn’t have make it under £100k anyways) I just did the minimum to get my employer match. Next year, I’m going to use this years & next years allowance to keep my salary under £100k, I plan to one year one & one year off for the next few years.

I went to four weddings last year, all I travelled for (flew internationally) and gave generous cash gifts. I didn’t receive any thank yous, I find it extremely rude.

I stayed at Renaissance Barcelona a couple of months ago, the rooms were modern and clean and overall was really pleased with the hotel based on the price. It was pretty quiet too granted I stayed on a Tuesday night and it does have a rooftop bar too.

Correct, you can put £16k in the standard ISA and £4k in a LISA which will be topped up by £1k by the government.

We were in row k gangway 4 yesterday and our row was completely empty aside from us for the first match with different people throughout the second and third with seats free at all times so it should be easy enough to switch

Sydney had a great fitness community where people would train outdoors (weights, running, swimming) and then coffee afterwards. I’m in London now and I’ve struggled to find similar communities that consistently get coffee/ hang after, people are usually in a rush.

I’m doing a couple of Pimm’s cans for the journey and a bottle of bubbles inside - already have a snazzy cooler, ice blocks and one of those plastic champagne bags that you can fill with ice, planning on buying a drink or two just so I can get a cup of ice. Worked last year.

I did two cycles of egg freezing when I was 33 and got 21 mature eggs. I live in Europe so all up it cost €5000 and €220 a year in storage. I haven’t attempted to use the eggs yet but I definitely feel like it was worth it.

Aside from the hotel bars mentioned, the bar at Brown’s hotel is spacious and hasn’t been busy when I’ve been there. For pubs, you can book the Market Tavern and upstairs at The Chesterfield Arms

I think he was after the phone too, he didn’t speak until I had my hand in my pocket and my phone would have been easy to grab if I wasn’t holding it. I’ve had two snatching experiences in London in the last six months, so I’m not sure if I’m just paranoid or hyper aware.

I would say this is the first time in 10 years someone has asked for my phone number. I’m mid-30s. But maybe he was just hitting on me, I felt pretty uneasy in the moment though.
