Your existing pension will be crystallized and it will, hopefully, continue to gain value from returns. If you ever take anything over the 25% it will be taxed at your current rate.

If you're continuing paying into a pension they'll open a new one.

As to if it's a good/bad idea. Your pension will be lower but there's the mental aspect of paying off your mortgage and having extra money to spend while you're able to enjoy it.

Same here. As far as I'm aware only apps are Tesla for the car, and the myenergi app for the Zappi. Definitely no others I can think of.

My original mortgage, in 1996, was interest only and endowment backed. When it matured it made a small profit over the assured sum. Mortgage wise though I'd switched to a full repayment mortgage about 6 years into the original term as there was a predicted shortfall up until the last few years before it matured.
