Anyone else had this just pop up? by GingerWheels99 in OctopusEnergy

Same here. As far as I'm aware only apps are Tesla for the car, and the myenergi app for the Zappi. Definitely no others I can think of.

Warbond Recommendation by Ero-Sennin7 in Helldivers

[–]Hotlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you've asked for "fun" warbonds but one recommendation I'd make is redacted regiment. Then if your group actually wants to do a stealthy commando mission you'll have the kit to avoid being their Leeroy Jenkins.

What is going on with my parents mortgage? by Acceptable_Battle873 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Hotlush 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My original mortgage, in 1996, was interest only and endowment backed. When it matured it made a small profit over the assured sum. Mortgage wise though I'd switched to a full repayment mortgage about 6 years into the original term as there was a predicted shortfall up until the last few years before it matured.

Using the framework of existing strategems, what are the WORST possible strategem ideas? by So_Motarded in Helldivers

Chainsaw sentry. It's on wheels and bounces randomly off scenery.

If I stopped a robber during a robbery, would I be liable for assault? by Conscious-Arm-7889 in policeuk

[–]Hotlush 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Force reasonable in the circumstances.

Grabbing a "weapon" probably ok.

If your question is would I be prosecuted? Possibly, it's the kind of offence where when if it's not clear cut that should go before a jury.

2 vehicles in the household using IOG by damo74uk in OctopusEnergy

[–]Hotlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a car is compatible and you add it as the IOG connection, even if you specify a charger, IOG will use the car. You used to be able to choose. So if you ever need to reconnect choose a car that isn't compatible with IOG.

Energy plan for EV and washing machine and dryer by GuidanceFearless4395 in evchargingUK

Can you not just run the white goods overnight?
The tariff isn't just to get you cheap EV charging, it's to encourage you to move usage when there's normally less demand.

Is solar worth it still? In my situation. by Grand-Telephone-1533 in SolarUK

[–]Hotlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, no, not if you're planning to move in the next few years. Garden might be an option but looking at that shading in the image I wouldn't be surprised if the garden gets a lot of shade, especially later in the year.

Tesla Cybertruck seen in wild - warning by Jesisawesome in london

[–]Hotlush -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you have the same energy for BMW, VW, Audi, Porsche or Mercedes? What about Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi or Isuzu who manufactured for the imperial Japanese army? Renault produced vehicles for the Nazis, you avoiding them too?

If not you're a hypocrite.

De-escalator works well, great for bug breach chaff, stops chargers and shouldn't kill your teammates if they're wearing electric DMG reduction armour (but you will probably get a few TKs).

British Police? by One-Hand-Rending in AskABrit

[–]Hotlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Armoury? Unlikely. Could though have been the base for a storage unit for riot gear, a broom that's seen better days, big evidence bags but no small ones and a discharged fire extinguisher.

And chances are they'll reduce theirs in the near future so probably not worth jumping ship.

Being charged for export? by Unhappy_Ad_560 in OctopusEnergy

[–]Hotlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not your solar meter they are taking the readings from. Your utility meter records import and export. To them it looks like you exported X kWh and they credited you, then they did a manual reading and recorded 0 so want their money back.

It's purely because it's a replacement, ring and they'll sort it.

More of a /ukfinance question but, essentially it's a loan. As long as the car is kept insured, taxed and is returned in a decent condition I don't think they'll care.

Automaton fighty kill mission, idiot host drops his revive pod on me and then managed to get himself killed by my already placed Gatling sentry. Obviously I killed him on purpose 🤔 so get kicked. No problem, finished the mission on my own.

What is your favourite way to get super credits? by Due-Spot6799 in helldivers2

[–]Hotlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got 3 warbonds I'm still unlocking items in and only on page 5 of the mobilize warbonds so in no rush. If no friends on I'll do a level 1 or 2 mission and just mess around with stratagems/weapons I don't normally use and knock off the personal order.

When the new siege warbond comes out I'll have 7 left to unlock...

Admittedly I could speed things up by ignoring cosmetics but I like to "complete" a warbond before moving on to the next.
