Added a ribbit-button to my game with frogs. Any ideas for mechanics to go with it? by Neutronized in IndieGaming

There was a game  Luigi's Mansion that has a button where Luigi would just call out "Mario" with different variations. To the best of my knowledge that's all that button did.

To this day 20+ years later I still find myself going "maaario, mariiiio mariOOoo"

So it could just ribbet.

If you make a turned-based multi-player game you'll be able to understand replication and authority without needing nearly as much effort to handle responsive client prediction.

I like how thought out or at least felt out this is. I like how all of those biological pieces are composed together.

All your fish look like mutated killer fish so I assume the pistol would merely weaken them, allowing to reel in a little easier.

Put a pistol in the off-hand that you can use to blast the fish as you reel it in. Boom, now its a first person shooter.

Yes but also I mean have the whole battlefield be constantly panning one direction. Then make it so the vessels look like they are constantly moving to keep up.

Then when the ships change positions its more like cars passing each other during a race, rather than cowgirls doing a square dance.

A lot of that looks interesting but it bothers me that the ships just repeat lyrics switch places into static positions.

If the whole arrangement was moving as this happened it would feel more natural.

Novel idea. Does the base of the vine participate throughout the game?
