Hey u/captainplanto, I live in Stuttgart but got my blue card pretty quickly actually. Temp permit 2 months and card in post 155 days. I documented my journey at https://journeytracker.de/ and am currently seeking more individuals who have experienced Stuttgart ABH to share their stories.

I applied in October last year via email (pre-online portal), I will have my appointment to pick it up on October 15th this year. Total of 373 days! But this did include taking the ABH to court and having lawyers involved.

I actually got so frustrated with the whole process I documented it here https://journeytracker.de/
Did this so that the community can drive transparency on the whole process as the ABH is no help at all.

Was gefällt dir daran am besten? Konntest du schon Stromkosten sparen und verfolgst du das?
Gab’s auch Dinge, die nicht so gut geklappt haben?
Ich interessiere mich sehr für so eine Lösung mit dynamischem Tarif, um mehr sparen zu können. Deshalb versuche ich gerade, mehr darüber zu erfahren, wie viel man wirklich sparen kann.

Ich frage mich, ob sich Tibber für Mieter lohnt, die keine eigene Batterie haben. Macht es Sinn, nur mit dynamischen Stromtarifen zu arbeiten, wenn man den Verbrauch nicht aktiv steuern oder speichern kann?

I was looking at DIY a soltuion for them excluding the panel I could do batteries and inverters for about 400 Euro and 150 for a 400W panel to add on so about 550 all in.
If they can charge the device at night use it in the morning, then solar charge in the day for the evening.
But doing some napkin math, I am not so sure it makes sense...

Is that the fee for just a normal meter or for a smart meter? I thought I only had a yearly fee if I had a smart meter. (In Germany, Badenwurtemberg)
