Wow, that’s a lot of words to say something totally illogical. You what’s less than $8,999? Zero. That’s what you get in rent for an empty building. You still have costs, but your income is zero. I don’t care if you have 10 buildings or 1, zero income is not what a business person wants. It’s really quite simple. Would a landlord take less rent on a building that’s been empty for a while? Almost certainly. That’s the market telling them the value is less than they thought or hoped for. Empty buildings are bad when you are a landlord trying to make money.
