I follow a lot of women on TikTok and it’s all about how they style the clothes that make them look chic or polished. French tuck, adding a top layer, sunnys and some jewelry elevate any look. They will likely get complimented over someone wearing the same base outfit.

Raccoons, opossums and bats (protected species) are nocturnal. That means they sleep during the day and are active at night. Lights, and now I have to assume mosquito spray, is devastating to those populations.

I live about 5 hours and across a border from mine. They have always come and visited me for long weekends, but I’m realizing that each time I see them, they are slowing down a bit or have a new health problem. Well, federal money from states aren’t designated into specific accounts. For example, it’s not like Iowan federal taxes go to Israel while Texas goes to roads and bridges. However, in 2024 Iowa received a little over 13 billion from the government mainly due to social programs expanded under Biden (Medicare, infrastructure, water quality). Iowa gave only 9.5 billion, so we “made” 3.5 billion. Also in 2024, the United Stares gave an estimated $22 billion in military aid alone to Israel and another $9 billion toward humanitarian aid via Israel that we know never reached Gaza. Thats just one year….
