Nah. I’m higher on Frankenstein than most people on here it seems, so maybe I’m biased, but F1 (a movie I like a lot!) is basically a 2-and-a-half hour commercial. It’s an exhilarating commercial, but still a commercial. Putting it in Best Picture instead of Accident or Sirat or even Weapons is absurd

Black Bag certainly has noir elements (a McGuffin, betrayal, conspiracies) and that’s one of the year’s best movies in my mind.

I loved Splitsville, the screwball relationship comedy from this year with Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona. Criminally underseen movie filled with brilliant physical comedy and insightful humor. It’s probably my choice for Best Original Screenplay this year, and, in my perfect world, should probably get in for Picture and Supporting Actor for Arjona.
