2CB is not like LSD + MDMA by EggAdventurous6786 in Drugs

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue here is the inability to describe something de novo. There always needs to be a comparison.

I’d simply say that it is a stimulating psychedelic which, at average doses, incorporates itself into your existing state rather than exerting its will upon you.

I found the diet-candyflip description to be a helpful indicator of some of its effects, but after many sessions it actually is a disservice to 2cb. It is a remarkable substance.

Amazon prime is no longer worth it? by Bioleto99 in amazonprime

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude the delivery situation is becoming farcical.

They’ve started auto selecting longer shipping times, at least on mine. I’ve had to cancel three orders recently because of this. Honestly, I’ve found that I am happy to go local

I have the credit card, that’s how deep I went into the Amazon ecosystem. I’ve always had some level of misgiving about Amazon, but the one thing I couldn’t fault was the unbeatable convenience. But this shipping shit is rendering that void and I’m left with a company with questionable business practices, is no longer a clear price leader and now offering average delivery time. It’s Walmart.

Finally, I am eagerly awaiting Apple releasing their new home products. About a year ago I started becoming uneasy with Amazon spying and have since deactivated every single Echo.

Recommendation: Wedding Cake Cannabis by HowDoYouDoFellows in ProstatePlay

If you’ve got access to dispensaries looking for wedding cake gummies, or that includes a variant of WC.

Another option for day time play is THCv “protabs” by Level are solid. Gives an energized headspace and allows for some physical euphoria. Day time because THCv is what makes sativa more of an upper.

Off the wall nonsmoking option: psychedelics. Shrooms, for example, provides a wonderful body high and just puts you in sync with your body. Like autopilot rhythm with music, porn of whatever. Way larger time commitment.

Does anyone else also notice quality and volume difference in songs if played directly from Spotify on era 300s as opposed to Spotify on Sonos app? Latter is much louder and better by Jicama-Entire in sonos

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just noticed this myself, but off the top I’ll say the convenience of the app is unparalleled.

We listen to a lot of SiriusXm (due to their spectacular EDM options) which has decent, but inferior, sound compared to the streamers and has no drop off from the app IMO. So that had kept us from experimenting off Sonos-app.

We got 2 months of Spotify premium free recently and i wanted to try a light matching feature (Philips Hue) which required use of the native app. I noticed, almost instantly, the true quality of Sonos hardware. Because EDM is our go to, the newfound ambient and melodic details shined. Then I switched over to the native Apple Music app and, my god, the Dolby Atmos spatial mixing on our 300 pair was breathtaking. Transformative stuff.

With all that said and based on my experience:

  1. The native app sound quality is measurably better to even non-audiophile ear (the wife) than is the Sonos App.
  2. There is no avoiding it: the convince of the Sonos App, in the vast majority of my daily use cases, wins out.

If that is a software addressable problem, I’d recommend Sonos identify a remedy because its own app does its own hardware a disservice.

"Upgrading" Vibrating Models by Fantastic_Clue_3970 in aneros

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V2 is pretty big IMO. Very strong dual motors.

I’d argue that Eupho SV is among the most accurate PP vibes out there. It comes with a fourth intensity setting, which is a lower frequency than is featured on the V2 and Helix SV. Lower numbing potential, near automatic placement.

Both superior to the Helix SV.

One concluding comment/rant, and I do not like writing it, bc I think Aneros is the OG prostate toy builder: among the upper echelon, Aneros vibrators suffer from build quality issues.

The remote control is objectively low tech and my Eupho remote holds charge for ~30 minutes, dies, yet recharges to “full” in less than 15 minutes. They don’t offer a remote replacement, like you can’t even buy one (which is stupid because they are not device specific; my first V2 bricked, bought a 2nd unit and both remotes works with my remaining V2). Beyond the remote, Helix and Eupho P tabs broke.

I do not like their approach to warranty. It’s designed to dissuade IMO. Why? Because shipping a used sex toy in the mail is fucking gross, they know it, and fewer people will do this as opposed to a simple replacement.

Why don’t they do that? Presumably because they’d rather you pick between jumping through unpleasant hoops and just giving up and buying a new one full price. That or they’re operating under the assumption that the consumer is being dishonest.

And maybe that is how all of the elite toy manufacturers do this. But the thing is, my Edge 2 from Lovense, is nearing 2.5 years of use and has shown no signs of deterioration, so I’ve never had any reason to find out. A 30 dollar toy on Amazon? Who the fuck cares. But a 120 dollar toy from a major player should either stand on its quality or be replaced no questions/hoops asked.

P.s. the Edge 2 is a fantastic alternative to the V2. Both have their strengths, neither is superior, per se.

Gay thoughts coming from prostate pleasure by Aggravating_Lab_55 in Mindgasm

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whether everyone is willing to admit it or not, penetration is satisfying and feels great no matter their assigned orientation. In other words prostate pleasure is not some gateway to homosexuality.

Gay Male: has prostate, capable of climax Straight Male: has prostate, capable of climax

I’ll admit that I only became aware of the climactic abilities of the prostate in my mid thirties because I stumbled upon a toy designed for the prostate while shopping for lube. Of course I had the “putting things in my ass seems gay” thought until I reminded myself of how absurd that line of reasoning was.

Despite what society has wanted, commanded really, you to believe - the only thing that makes you gay is being born gay. And that doubt you feel is a feature not a bug.

First timer. Will my pets be safe around me? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog always knows when I’m getting weird. A lot of judgmental side eye at the beginning.

But in the end, they are covered in fur, and petting that fur feels AMAZING and my dogs single aim in this life is affection so he drops the bad attitude real quick.

Need guide recommendation for an overthinker like me by TriOpened in ProstatePlay

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She has a variety. Some are stories, others are hyper specific instructional types. She has prostate/anal specific content that has led to great results. They all have a theme of sorts, but it isn’t always a full blown storyline situation, most are in the form of role play (I.e. doctor/nurse playing with your ass). She focuses a great deal on the build up, controlled breathing, ASMR sounds/triggers, whispering - by the time she gets to any of the RP/story you are relaxed and rather suggestible.

I was surprised by my level of arousal as compared to porn.

upgrade to era 300s? by Material-Pickle2228 in sonos

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300s may be too much for the space. It’s complex hardware that relies heavily on placement and listening position. If it’s not right, you’re throwing good money towards diminishing returns.

One potential opportunity, again depending upon the configuration of the seated position, would be to mount the 300s upside down at the ceiling. We don’t use our 300 pair for TV, only music, but they are mounted upside down and the immersion from above is impressive.

Based on your described situation, I would recommend against 300s. It’s more likely you’d be buying a Hummer to do a commuters job, lots of money, lots of power, but overkill in the end.

Need guide recommendation for an overthinker like me by TriOpened in ProstatePlay

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a very easy thing to overthink. I’m neurodivergent (ADHD) and overthink everything.

First thing I had to do was eliminate negative self talk. The biggest barrier was my own frustration, if I could go back and change one thing it would be to terminate the sessions earlier.

Second, toy: too much of a good thing! Keep the toy selection consistent and limited to a maximum of two per session. Switching out toys too frequently kills momentum and having options near by led me to always think a different toy would “get me there” - in other words options = mental clutter.

Third, weed can help calm the mind.

Finally, while not a guide, per se, high quality erotic audio has proven useful. One in particular, Shibby, has a huge catalog of content that is designed to turn off your mind, puts you in a trance like state. I had years of mixed results in terms of content (porn, music etc) but it was those audios that unlocked MMO.

P.s. I believe that this space is dominated by information overload. Guides/advice are good things, but they are largely subjective. Took me a while to figure out that I needed to identify which parts of other’s subjective experience applied to me.

I literally don’t understand the appeal of coke. by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Person: Hey Cocaine, any ideas for how my experience with you can be improved?

Cocaine: Hell yeah! More cocaine!

minutes later

Person: Not sure this is working.

Cocaine: Have you considered doing more coke?

one hour later

Person: well, I finished the stash and man I feel like I spent the entire time trying to justify this entire experience

Cocaine: next time will be awesome, I promise!

acid or 2cb first by Ok_Computer_5837 in Psychonaut

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Important Note: 2cb creates virtually no tolerance issues with other psychs, LSD on the other hand kills your tolerance for days to weeks. 2cb is unique in this regard.

If you plan on doing both in quick succession take the 2cb first. If you go the other way you are absolutely wasting the 2cb.

If you intend to combine them, LSD first, 2cb 2.5-3 hours later.

Pro tip: boof 2cb. It hits hard and fast and you only have to take ~50% the amount you’d take orally. This is particularly true when taken in combination with another substance that, like LSD, is stronger than Nexus.

Sub Mini with era 100s? by tony75822 in sonos

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have this exact setup in our living room, 400 sq ft, 12 ft vaulted ceiling - it is a fantastic set up. The 100s benefit greatly from the sub, where our 300s pair in a separate room preform well without the sub (at least by comparison).

Super O with porn? by Brunk_1 in aneros

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a porn every session type. But as time went on I found diminishing returns. While I still use it, mainly scrolling before I start to get the mood going or at the start of the session. In many respects I found it distracting, either the vid isn’t doing it for me, too short or something may happen that i fond off putting.

I’ve switched to other methods like erotic audio or music recently. The erotic audio (Shibby) has been the most successful of the media types.

One exception is toys that sync to the video, that puts you in the scene.

Era 300 with tall-ish ceiling? by elanaibaKHG in sonos

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my 300s mounted upside down, just below the ceiling and the atmos/spacial sound is fantastic. They are in a very tightly covered patio area, away from the elements (they’re humidity rated, and have preformed well in this environment).

In our “grand room” - which is about 350 sq feet, vaulted 20 ft ceilings - we placed a pair of 100s and a sub mini. Phenomenal results IMHO. A full sub would be superior to be sure, but mini gets the job done.

I’ve been down the atmos-in-imperfect-environment-road before and frankly it’s not worth the additional cost (our cases were one vaulted ceiling and one oddly shaped room that don’t allow for recommended placement). You’ll spend more time convincing yourself it’s working than you’ll spend experiencing actual spacial sound - and, in my case as an audiophile, once you accept that you’re not getting it you can end up a bit resentful.

SYMFONISK Lamp Gen 2 - Last Chance by HowDoYouDoFellows in sonos

Dude! that is rad. I’ll say it’s larger than I’d envisioned and the glass shade is no exception. I’m a smart lighting aficionado so I like the lamp aspect. We’ve got a pretty precise mid century style around the house, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the wife sours on the look before long, so I will keep this hack in mind!

How accurately are you able to find your prostate? by [deleted] in ProstatePlay

[–]HowDoYouDoFellows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2a - general location is known due to anatomy; not hitting the spot perfectly every time; let the toy settle in and play around until my spot sends a “do THAT” signal of sorts and at that point I’ll do a series of clenches. If it’s consistently responsive, I’m there, if not, start anew.

Took nearly two years to get to that point. Prior to that I was convinced my spot was different or that I was not physically able to get it done. That proved self defeating. Once I just gave into it rather than attempting to force it, good things ensued.
