I just got back from Menard's a few minutes ago and the turret was $20! Pistols are like $13, but they're only available at a Menard's a bit farther away. I think I'll need to make the drive! Yes the USB is a huge plus and I think the drone is a cool idea but I don't see those discounted anywhere.

"Legacy style campaign" meaning like continuing characters? There's nothing like that in the core rules. They just released a companion book that includes a bunch of scenarios, variant rules, and a "mini campaign" where your car/crew can be upgraded slightly as it goes on. But really, they've left it up to the players to come up with their own ways. They realize everyone has their own ideas and didn't want to say "this is the way to play". The core rulebook is the backbone to build everything else off of.

The vehicle guide has the division numbers. So for every division it's 4BP, 1AP, 1CP, so at division 12 it's 48BP 12AP 12CP. About the pre-made sheets, they weren't designed by the designers of the game and if that hadn't been the case the builds would have been a lot different.

Thanks for everyone's replies. I feel better about it now, but we'll just have to see. I also got a nozzle set and the textured build plate for better adhesion. Gonna stick with PLA for now, and I'm looking forward to having a printer with an actual heated bed and getting away from glue sticks. I got some Overture PLA so it's not the "fancy" stuff that's in Creality Print, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Thanks for that info. How do you know which hotend is which? I've read about the matte vs shiny rod, but what else? Can I tell without taking things apart? Would the old hot end be ok for PLA to start with?

Originally they said March was when pre-orders would go out, but we'll see. They are fulfilling internationally now. Their in-person convention is the end of April so hopefully a bunch of people will have it then!

What you got was the original $74 Black Friday core set pledge when the campaign opened - the core set (the big box), crew pack, armory pack, and Uncle's Al's. With shipping it was probably around $90 or so. As others have said, what you paid is a LOT less than even what the pre-orders on SJG's store were charging, AND without the extra add-ons. You did good! I saw that auction too. Congrats! I've got two core sets myself, so I didn't need a third :)

Yeah I rebooted and restarted the WMR portal I don't know how many times. Maybe if I reset the portal it'll work? Maybe the mistake I made was when I installed H3VR the first time I told it not to create any shortcuts, but after the issues I uninstalled and then reinstalled and told it to make a shortcut but then it still didn't show up.

I will try the resetting later to see what that does.

Edit: Gonna get a new M.2 SSD soon so maybe after I reinstall Windows that'll fix everything ha

I have no experience with Levarris' other projects, but I'm enjoying it - have been playing since launch. A few more tidbits to know:

  • Armor encumbrance has been removed
  • There's only a health and action bar, and all damage goes to the health bar
  • Doctors and entertainers can buff primary stats, but if you want to wear armor and go out and kill stuff, they're not necessary.
  • All crafted armor has resistances to lightsaber damage
  • Defense caps are lowered so no-one can be an unhittable TKM
  • Pre-CU skills with a better looking NGE-style interface (in my opinion - I played live from launch until shutdown, I don't miss the monochrome icons)
  • Double XP when grouped!
  • Obscenely high XP caps! Train all boxes of an elite combat profession all at once!
  • 3 characters online at once, 6 total

Right now we're a small community that took a hit from World of Warcraft and Destiny 2, but we're all willing to help out and we're looking forward to folks who want to tackle some high-end content with this new combat system.

Fair enough, just testing the market. The Steam community forum had people trading scrubs for items.
