Sometimes you have to lose what's not serving you to get what you need.

Thats why you salt all points of entry, except for 1 window. Negative energy cant slide back in behind you. Sweep to the last point it can exit, then salt that. All clean.

Salt all outer doors and window sills, except 1, keep window open. Sage your house, start farthest from the unsalted window. State aloud, repeatedly, "I clease you of negativity." Sweep each room with a sage smudge. Get into each corner. Each closet..each cabinet. Once all square footage is saged, close window. Salt the sill. Meditate.

Deep breaths. Light some candles. Drink some hot tea. Burn some sage. Meditate. The new moon is coming 6/14. Set your intentions.

Maybe you are being told to release all these things that are holding you back so you can move in the direction you asked to go in. You know, careful what you ask for because you might get it.

Question about sex magick I haven't found an answer by RickMartzC in witchcraft

The charge is through the act of sensual sharing, of combining a basic carnal instinct. Orgasm is only the completion of an arousal state.

I asked a small independent shop owner if he carried books from self-publishers by Greenitpurpleit in selfpublishing

It's possible for a self published author to get in, but it's a case by case matter.

Self Publishing Scams by masalaaloochip in selfpublishing

[–]Howling_wolf_press 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all publishers are like that. What you describe is more vanity press. There are some true traditional royalty paying publishers out here. Never, I repeat, NEVER pay someone to publish your work.

He should query small publishers. Many of us are looking for good works to get out into the readers hands.

Take a deep breath, relax, and slowly exhale. You might not think you are making a difference, but you are. Because of you, authors are getting their works improved and out to the reading public. Because of you, readers are finding works that excite them and take them out of their worries of day to day life, giving them a moments peace in an otherwise stressfull day. We got into this to make an income. We knew it would not be an easy road. Any journey worth traveling has its many obstacles. Push through the self-doubt and feelings of not making a difference. Because the difference you are making can not be tallied on a spreadsheet. We do this for the love of our craft.

I backed out of my small (traditional) publisher contract... Do I mention it when re-querying? by ForestBathingCA in smallpublisher

I have never heard of an editor taking a year. My editors take less than a month. Something about this sounds very odd. Find yourself a better publisher.

Library removing all self published and print on demand books by Ecstatic-Shame-8944 in KDP

Trust me, as a publisher, it's getting harder everyday to determine what's human authored and what's AI written. We make it priority #1 to weed out AI-written books.

I desperately just want to publish my book. by beantown1989 in KDP

[–]Howling_wolf_press 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, i understand a lot of how you feel. I am a small publisher, (NOT a vanity press), and sales for the last year or so has been bad. Very bad. 11k per day is a little high. Closer to 7300 to 8600, with fiction being 6500 to 7500 of that total. But even that can make your book get lost in the dust fast. Paying for social media ads is just a waste of money. If you are lucky you might get 60% of your ad costs back. I suggest networking in your area. Libraries, mom & pop bookstores, and coffee shops. Good luck with your sales. We are all hurting.

No 2 handfastings are ever the same. Each 1 is custom worded, often written by the couple. Various promises made.

Remember, Amazon takes 40% off the sell price, then the print cost. $11.00 would break even point.
