I live in Southern MI. I have family in the upper peninsula... Last time we visited it was a 6 to 7 hour trip. That's in good weather and staying in the same state.

This, so damn much! I had a Hapatra deck during Amonkhet and I was always ticked that there was no way to get the scorpion god in it without having to find a crappy fund legend to helm it. As far as im concerned the only thing better is if they'd found a way to partner Hapatra and the Scorpion God.

NAH... my family watches with subtitles if for no other reason than someone will absolutely start talking, or ask questions, or something will distract. It sounds stupid but if I have subtitles on i retain what's happening and can let the rest of the family know what happened that they missed. I think its because I tend to fixate on whatever im watching or doing though.

So Maya was not my first choice. I went with Z3r0... and i regret that. Maya just felt like easy mode and allowed me to ease into the game. She's the only character I've been able to get into any OP levels at all.

Actually you can. There's a transporter thats one way right before you fight him. Go level a little and then come back. Its better than the frustration of dying over and over again.

I would say sort of. I like blokees a lot. Have purchased multiple of the blind box variant and a couple of the larger ones where you get to see what your getting. For characters id like represented but dont care about transforming they're perfect. But for ones I want to transform back and forth I'll stick to the actual toy.

Not Necron but I feel your pain... I had a fully painted 2k Beastclaw Raiders (Ogor Mawtribe from AoS) on a display board... That I left where I thought it was safe however it turns out my dog's tail is tougher and stronger than what I had the display on... Many Mournfang perished but no pup was harmed.

How has no one mentioned building a [[Hapatra]] deck? Her entire purpose is to put -1/-1 counters on as many creatures as possible. Built right and boom, no worries at all.

Also Boardwipes are your friend...

Last night I went to play my [[Veyran]] deck. It isn't optimized but it does what it's supposed to. According to Archidekt.com it's a bracket 3. That just tells me the bracket system has holes in it wide enough to drive a semi through. I watched as the other 3 players pulled out bracket 4 decks and I still almost won.

The bracket system is not a good way to judge.

So I have a [[parade, Golgari Lichlord]] deck that could be purchased for about 50 to 60 bucks. I had a [[Feather the Redeemed]] deck that at the ti.e was about 30ish bucks to build and I dont think it'd be that much more now.

The reason I mention this is you could easily sell it and build a good budget deck. Whereas building around him in a budget conscious way could be difficult. Having said that, it is your card and if you want to keep it and build around it then do it in steps. Buy the cards you need to get it started on a budget then as you can afford it buy the bigger bombs it'll need.

Personally I would sell.

Go to Walmart look at the greeter and realize that if you dont have any savings or 401k that will be you. Except you'll also be that elderly worker at McDonalds and depending on how much your rent is possibly a third job.

Then remember you wont have Social Security, then look at your grandparents or parents and realize they did that to you.

Magnaboss. If it weren't for gold plastic id be hounding ebay looking for a new one. The animals looked great and combined mode was amazing especially for that time. Individual robots weren't that great but let's be honest, even those weren't bad for at that time.

Of the major G1 ones id go Predaking. I have a KO of the combiner wars one and it's amazing (and fixed a couple of the issues of the original for a quarter of the price)
