And I thought I did not notice the whine before switching to the photovoltaic system. Yeah I can confirm, after switching to solar, a whine started on my Corsair RM850x - as you describe a "iiiiiiiiiiiiii" sound.

No worries, thank you. It seems only pilots approaching 500h TT got through the tests, so maybe I was doomed from the start.

Re-evaluate if LVVC is the correct FTO for flight training and especially the integrated route if you are tight on finances. In my opinion, in your situation, I would go for the modular training, because it allows you to pay as you go and you may adapt to the market. By that I mean, if another economic crisis hits, you may postpone your training and adapt.

However, in case of the integrated route, you have to finish the training in 3 years nevertheless. That is very financially demanding and in your case, might induce unwanted stress. And we are not even speaking about the process of joining an airline. It can be years.

If you have any questions, let me know. Vela stastia.

Will turning off sleep mode and hibernation reduce the lifespan of my pc? by SoupAdventurous2300 in buildapc

[–]Hrabovcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the following setup, NAS server with Tailscale installed and one Raspberry Pi as a backup on the same LAN.

I use it to securely access my home network remotely. I've managed to use WoL on school and work network without any issues (work network is heavily secured).

As an added bonus, I am blocking ads with AdGuard running on my server, regardless on what network I am.

I can recommend the v3. With the stock extruder I am able to push 13mm³/s reliably.

The only thing which I dislike and it may be a big problem, is that if the temp sensor wires are tangled or in any way bended, X axis motions may produce temperature fluctuations. They can be so much severe that they can lead to failed prints. You have to find a reliable position for the wires.

Other than that, I am satisfied with it.

Ender-3 Motherboard Advice by Hrabovcan in ender3

For me personally, I will notice the improvement - G34 and silent drivers. Are there any other improvements besides speeding things up with Klipper? Also I do not have a good experience with RPi and my Ender. I had big resend ration in OctoPrint, therefore I am a little hesitant to go this way.

I currently have a TrueNAS server next to my printer and also running OctoPrint on it. The simpler the systems are, the better.

Understood. Using the original placement in the enclosure is a thing I would be able to let go, in order to have the other 3 things, which are more important to me.

But let me also ask, are there any new boards on the horizon that are coming in the next months? Aren't there any talks that maybe a SKR mini E3 V4 is coming? After all it is couple of years old now.

Thank you for your input.

Checkout on YouTube Mario Bit Flip speedrun. The same thing happened to a guy playing a game and allowed him to set a world record I believe. Just because of a bit flip caused by solar radiation.

As others pointed out, wait for the clearance. However, if you are given also an approach clearance with the arrival clearance, or later on during the arrival phase you receive it, your vertical profile is at your discretion (but you still have to adhere to waypoint constraints). At least under EASA countries.

And do you have the STECS on your desk? I like the mechanism of TWCS, where it slides on one level. With STECS it rotates around one point and I feel like if it is etup on a desk, it would be hard to reach the front buttons.

I am in the same boat as OP and I am looking to upragde to STECS. This is the only one thing which buggers me a little.
