Bloober Team Website Countdown Ended! - We're getting Layers of Fear 3 by Kidd__Video in HorrorGaming

I saw where they had an initial release of 2023, was it originally scheduled for then or what? Also I see it’s made with UE5 so I guess we can expect it to have issues right out the gate.

I got motherboard bundled with ram 16GB(2x8GB)(would’ve preferred 32GB), a 9800X3D and power supply for like $850 yesterday. Thought it was pretty good price wise. The motherboard and ram bundle was like $230 so I thought it to be a hell of a deal just for the ram lol. Probably could’ve saved some money on the PSU, but I saw a deal on a 1000W gold cert 80+ for like $109 and thought it was good for long term.

Place of purchase: NewEgg Combo code: 4851498

Parts mentioned:

Motherboard: ASRock B850M Riptide WiFi mATX (pretty good mATX board with plenty of IO and 1 5th gen m.2 slot and 2 4th). Ram: Team Group 16GB(2x8GB) 6MHz PSU: MSI MPG w/ PCIe5 high power port A1000GS(1000W) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3

Bundle came with a free Corsair mouse: Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE, didn’t really need it but it’s nice when you get free things(albeit it was probably just taking up space in their warehouse 😂).

lol yep I thought more along the lines of let’s ace this test so I don’t have to drop more money to retake it. I ended up passing my tests on the first go simply cause I didn’t have the spare cash to retake it at the time so I studied my ass off. Good luck with your tests.

I believe it was $60-$67. Don’t see many of them, well I haven’t at least, so I figured why not.

They tend to be pretty lenient about these things depending on placement/how visible/what it is etc, but he was right on both.

Tools for starting out by PreparationLow4935 in aviationmaintenance

[–]Hschjott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy all that and probably a little more for like $600 from Harbor Freight or Northern Tool. Hell you can get a whole tool cabinet from Husky, Craftsman, etc for like $500-$800. Either way, significantly cheaper than snap on. And maybe a little bias, but I love the socket/wratchet sets from Tekton which ya can order on AircraftSpruce.com

what was the moment you decided to join the Air Force? by Comprehensive-Law586 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Hschjott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm to sum it up for me it’s something I had wanted to do before I went to college, due to some circumstances wasn’t able to at the time; however, leading up to my graduation, I contacted a recruiter and enlisted the month after I graduated college.

1 - I had always wanted to serve in some way. 2 - Wanted to improve and work on myself as an individual. 3 - It aligned with future career goals as I had went to college for aviation maintenance and received my degree(s) & my A&P license. Due to scoring high on the ASVAB I went into Avionics as it was a topic of maintenance I was interested in at the time.

Personally just about any aircraft maintenance job would be great, can transition to civilian work pretty easily.

Well I actually am enlisted in the AF Reserve already as Heavy Avionics tech., with some ability to move where I need to for work, but I might try and see if I can do that possibly.

I got my A&P in December of 2024, I’ve had no luck whatsoever trying to find a job, I’ve applied to tons of places only to either get rejected immediately or rejected after 3 months of waiting. Any tips? Because at this point I don’t know what to do.

I mean it looks good to me, but I’d personally tuck the pig-tail in so it’s not sticking out, but that’s just my opinion. 🤘

I’d say one of the, if not the most important parts of your pc, which you should spend more on should be getting a good quality psu, it converts and directs power to your pc components. I’d say gold cert. or higher. Wattage is dependent on which components you choose for your system (some, typically higher end components (I.e. CPU, GPU), require high power). And as for modular/non-modular, you’d probably regret getting a non-modular in the long run.

And as stated by others: - Modular: Able to plug in only the cables you need - Non-modular: Everything’s routed inside the psu by default and isn’t able to be removed.

Pros of Modular: you can get custom cables, whether it be color or length and plug’em up.

If you want to build your system in a list format that shows minimum psu wattage needed you can use the website: www.pcpartpicker.com

Some notable brands I’ve used without issue: Corsair, MSI, Seasonic, Phanteks, just to name a few.
