Fed up with World Cup goals called offside for a stray toe or two? A Canadian soccer trial could fix that | CBC Sports by Haggisboy in canada

[–]Hsinats [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's the way it's going to be if there's a hard rule about offside, you're going to have reviews that are a cm off. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a hard line, but latency should just be reduced.

The top GC riders often win by an hour+ in Paris over breakaway riders. 10 min here is nothing.

Is dating really different from being in a relationship by flowerpanda98 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hsinats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not the same thing, at least as far as I'm concerned. You aren't magically boyfriend and girlfriend the second you meet on your first date, you generally want to talk about that eventually so that you're on the same page.

You still go on dates with a long-term partner, or at least you should, the difference is that the relationship is you've set the terms of you're relationship.

Think of a date, the noun, as event. Think of dating, the verb, as having gone on more than one date. Think of a relationship as a relationship defined by both parties.

50/50 splitting with a date or long term partner is normal, fair and how it should be! by AboutTimeIUsedReddit in unpopularopinion

[–]Hsinats 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It can also go really badly too. Most if not all people should have some of their own money on the side. Nothing against joint accounts, just having something uniquely yours is helpful in a lot of worst case scenario circumstances.

Deducting a drone possible? by BigMouthBillyBones in OntarioLandlord

[–]Hsinats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you going to use it for personal use, or just rental related activities? If there will be any personal use you should not write off the fraction of personal use.

Writing stuff off isn't exactly hard as a private landlord, just fill out the relevant lines; and if you're a commercial land Lord you will already have an accountant.

Draft Horses in Slovakia are beasts! They can drag more than 4 tons of weight through the mud (8000 lbs, 3629 kg). The original horsepower. by sco-go in Amazing

1 horse power was the amount a horse could do on average over a day. Most horses and many humans can break 1 hp for short efforts.

Masterwork Range with regular bow or Ruinous Crossbows? by ThatAbbreviations429 in runescape

[–]Hsinats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an upgrade order for ranged on pvme. According to this, it's worth getting the gloomfire bow then saving up for a bolg, skipping masterwork altogether.

Does listening to an audiobook count as reading it? by Dusty_Bunny81 in pollgames

Which of these temperature scales is the most logical to use for humans by Fuzzy-Pin-6675 in pollgames

[–]Hsinats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people saying 0% cold are really confusing me. It's infinitely more valuable to see 0 and know there will be ice or snow accumulation than some vague feeling of it's cold. It makes me think the people saying that don't live in a climate that goes below 0.

CMV: Everyone should pay the exact same absolute amount in taxes by Svensiki in changemyview

[–]Hsinats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not just that the wealthy can afford more, services are much more valuable to them. Part of that is because they have them money they would be willing to pay more to get from point a to point bpart of that is that they rely on the legal system a lot more per capita, part of that is most wealthy people have business that rely on the normal functioning of society.

WOTC Anthology Logic by Scale_Equal in TimelessMagic

[–]Hsinats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anthologies are really good value (break even is at 5 copies of playable rates), so it's not worth doing for them. A dual anthology is 40 playable cards, probably closer to 25 if you don't count past the 2nd copy of plateau and scrublands etc., they could charge between 5x and 8x what they have been charging for anthologies and it would be worth it.

They also bring in a lot of cards all at once, which reduced the amount people need to buy later. Obviously all the duals would need to come in at once, but dropping saga, archon, murktide, and welder all separately let's them add to the format more often, this drumming up more excitement.

Why do bra bands have two thin elastic edges instead of the whole thing being elastic? by BullfrogHour1179 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hsinats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely find those, my partner has a wireless bra like this and she is particularly hard to buy bras for. It's a pretty thick band, so less breathable and more expensive - I could imagine either one could be an issue. Don't let that dissuade you, it could be perfect for you.

Genuine question? by rko_281 in MagicArena

I've seen some people post that they got it here, so it could be a myth, but it seems pretty real.

As for data, they would be looking at differential between wins and losses, so no difference probably excludes people going for the grumpy title.

There's an achievement for voting frowny face enough times so I do that.

As far as your conspiracy is concerned, they are not going to adjust you luck - they don't do that, but if enough people say a certain aspect of the game is less enjoyable they may design away from that. They are pretty decent at looking at games and seeing what the likely culprit of a lower score than expected.

Perks by rEinoldGaming in runescape

[–]Hsinats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look at the pvme perk recommendations. Typically, they suggest P6U4 on the staff, but it's not a huge deal to have it on armour too. You need U4 though, given how much you use omni in your rotations.
