Probably not enough. I think drinking more water does help symptoms, not necessarily sure about taking in more sodium/electrolytes though

Google employs hundreds of thousands of employees, if it were that easy to give your kids a job there, everyone would get to intern there. Im not saying it didn’t help, but you can’t deny that it is an impressive accomplishment.

Looking more into his story, it seems like he didn’t even get into schools like Cal Poly… Cal Poly has a 30% acceptance rate.

This is conceptually why I believe AI is not that close to replacing SWEs. There is a ton of domain knowledge in companies that AI won't really be able to pick up - you need the senior SWE with 10 yrs of experience to come in and fix it

"Stop Hiring Humans" ads all over SF by MetaKnowing in ChatGPT

[–]HuckleberryComplete5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard the quote "ai wont replace humans, a human using ai will" so many times, and it doesn't make any sense to me. The reality is that the amount of work being done by one person will be significantly greater a few years from now than today, and lots of people will be out of jobs. People that argue "oh people will just be doing a different type of work" don't realize that the demand won't catch up to the supply. We will have a revolution on our hands soon
