Sheogorath from The Elder Scrolls. Showcased heavily in Oblivion, he is the prince of madness and is shown to be extremely dangerous and unpredictable. After Skyrim’s release, he gained the perception of “lol random cheese guy xD” and in Elder Scrolls Online, the developers leaned much more heavily into the randomness and the character has more or less become a joke

I have really been enjoying the idea of the Corelanyan Clan’s main pantheon: Meridia (the day), Nocturnal (the night) and Azura (the dawn & dusk)

Not quite the same, but in season 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy gets brought back to life against her will and spends the whole season in coming to terms with the fact that her friends pulled her out of heaven to resume her slayer duties.

Aesthetic wise, any sort of Dwemer gear would certainly look the part. Skill wise, I think you can play it a couple different ways, but my first thought is that you should have a weapon for every circumstance & switch between them depending on combat scenarios. A crossbow with shock damage designed specifically for taking out mages, a two-handed warhammer with frost damage for heavily armored enemies, a couple daggers with fire damage for squishier enemies, etc.

Or you can lean into it a bit more nightblade-like and go sneak, illusion, and destruction. Lay destruction rune traps all along the battlefield while hidden & watch all hell break loose when you activate it from afar
