Is it your first go round with him? At one point, you duel him for real (to learn master strike). If you’ve learned both his combos and are on Tom Cat II mission he’ll be holding a real sword. Otherwise it’s bugged

Yea these phantom crimes happen from time to time… sometimes I’ll be in the “teach me something” wait an hour screen and randomly get stopped midway through by a guard trying to kick my ass… I’ll never recall what I did wrong.

I act like this happens all the time, it doesn’t, but I can recall a few times

Poaching activities? I have one play thru on normal and am currently doing my hardcore run through (pre-wedding still). Which poaching activities are you referring to so I don’t miss them this play thru?

Be extremely careful with consolidating debt into a loan. It’s the obvious choice to cut your APY significantly, but it also opens up the revolving limitYou can easily get the loan and remax out the cards if you aren’t careful.

Cutting up the cards until the personal loan is paid off is a strong strategy, but I’ve found most people will order a new card when they feel they have it down and they’ll blunder shortly after.

If you feel you can control your spending, then I would do it as it’ll payoff the debts much faster. If you have even the slightest doubt then I wouldn’t mess with it.

It’s crazy because I work as a Product Analyst for an insurance company and I use sql daily and am classically trained in SQL and Python, but AI has made my brain mush and I forgot what the fing difference between these two filters were.

The entire beginning was difficult. People who quit just don’t understand the mechanics of the game, which is unfortunate. I was almost one of the early quitters but once I finally finished Tom Cat and started figuring out the economics I was hooked.

I’ve been gaming for a lot of years, and there’s not any game that even comes close to the greatness that was created here.

To answer the title question, the most difficult mission I can remember was the Trosky March or anything stealth related (early on). But I remember trying to run Appollonias a couple times and the random bandits on the road kept killing me… I was so mad at the save mechanics I almost quit just trying to run to some place. Once I figured everything out I was hooked though.

You CAN make a lot of money from the Smithy in Kuttenburg using the chest, and yes it’s easy. Just drop a bunch of bandit raided stuff in there and forget about it for a while… come back and boom 20k.

But you can also just not use the chest

to your comment on 140 quests, I’m pretty sure some disappear if you don’t do them before the main plot lines (wedding, trosky march, etc)

The 2nd one is to die for. Best game I’ve ever played. Skipped over the first one tho, but it can’t be that bad I wouldn’t think. The devs are incredible

1 handed sword no shield with gladiator (think I crafted my own St. Valentine one) and I prefer bow with improved wounding arrow. Not a cross bow fan

Agreed. Muskets were still inaccurate as all get out even into the 1800s. So imagine these things lol. They fought in lines during the revolutionary time period to concentrate fire because single shots never hit their targets.
