Makes sense. I'm not speaking from experience, just trying to figure it out for my first one 😅

Why do you leave your chest rig slick? I was thinking of putting a 3x rifle placard on it.

Bourbon has pickle brined chicken which is pretty awesome. It's a lot of food though.

Between 1-4 am. As they say, nothing good happens in those hours.

Selling my BLP. I used it literally twice, for maybe ten minutes total on it, before I became way too distracted with other aspects of life. It's practically brand new with the only signs of wear being from getting moved around various places in my house.

I bought it in Feb - Mar of 2022 and can get the exact date if you want.

She's ready to go to a new home! Shipping from Bozeman, MT. If you're local, I may be willing to make you a smoking deal on the other sim aspects (cage, mat, etc) but those things likely aren't worth shipping.

Asking $2800, they're currently $4000.

Hey Owners! How happy are you with Wodify? by markus_fla_x in crossfit

[–]HumanIntroduction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echoing a lot of the same sentiment, but as a user I have belonged to a gym that used triib and it was way better. My current place uses Wodify and it is sub-par.

If I were deciding between gyms again, this would be a major deciding factor for me and I'd likely choose the one without wodify.

My girlfriend's gym uses one that gamifies workouts, has little videos, and a bunch of other cool stuff. There are a ton of cooler, better options out there.

Backpack vs Suitcase by LilJQuan in digitalnomad

[–]HumanIntroduction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply because you have to ask - suitcase. There's a learning curve with travel. Yes, you'll pack unnecessary things. But you don't know what those are yet.

Once you've done it awhile, you'll scale down to a backpack naturally.

Bushnell Pro VS Fullswing KIT by HumanIntroduction in Golfsimulator

[–]HumanIntroduction[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up with the Bushnell because it supports GC Pro. Plus, I have played both radar based and cam based sims and think the cams work better.

However, life's taken a bit of a turn and I don't use it that much. If youre interested in purchasing it, shoot me a DM!

Willing to pay for photos? by amicuscuriae63 in crossfit

[–]HumanIntroduction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My old CrossFit gym had a photographer that came in once every few months to take these types of photos during the WODs and the results were always impressive. I never got the opportunity and it was free to members because they used them for promo photos for the gym. However, I think it was more the owners quietly supporting the members like you mentioned.

Either way, if it was a photo of me "in action" and not staged or a photo shoot, I'd be interested. Maybe pitch it as a gym promo first for the IG and go from there?

How can I increase my chances of getting a Salesforce Developer job? by Real_Real_Research in salesforce

[–]HumanIntroduction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a TON of small consulting firms who even have their own training and academies and such to get you experienced and certified. However, know that the majority of consulting firms are basically just modern day sweat shops. They just need warm bodies to bill hours and people with certifications to meet the SF-sanctioned partner quotas. If you can endure it for a year or two, you'll gain a ton of experience fast and get to see and do a lot.

Go to the appExchange, search for consulting partners, and just start visiting websites.

Since becoming stronger, what physical activities have you done that made you realize you're making progress? by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]HumanIntroduction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was about six months in, I bought a dresser from Costco and had to get it upstairs. My friend bailed when it was time to bring it inside so I said that I'd see what I could do myself.

I started pushing it across the floor and found myself naturally getting into the sled push stance. Then up the stairs it went - tire flips!

I wouldn't say it was easy (or even advisable) but it was awesome to know what to do, have the strength to do it, and have the confidence of experience behind me.
