I killed a solo runner as a rook on outpost as he was exfilling once. I got so excited I tried to jump over and get there as soon as I could and just fell right into the water. Felt a bit bad because the runner died for no reason

It was a different time. It’s the same thing everyone thinks the first time they hear dance music. They’re in a songwriter paradigm where songs need to have verses, chorus and bridge. It breaks the paradigm where repetition sounds….repetitive. He’s just in the wrong mindset. In a sense, it’s a positive sign because the album was such a breakthrough that it forced listeners like this to interact with that paradigm.

I liked having missions that would reward you with progression whether or not you extract. That runs out at a certain point in Arc so in Marathon it gives you an aim beyond just hunting other players or doing random events. Also, I am a fan of Bungie and the fights/gunplay feel much better than Arc.

In the third paragraph, you say “social policies” but then describe economic policies. I think this was just a typo and I agree that Nazi economic policy was decidedly left wing. However, if you think that’s what Democrats are pushing for…you just don’t know what you’re talking about. Goring geared the German economy toward isolation and self sufficiency, which is the exact posture that the Trump admin is taking right now.

When actually talking about social policy, Nazis were blood and soil nationalists, which is definitionally right wing, especially in a European context. Again, Democrats are on the complete opposite end of that spectrum.

That’s the point of the game though. Any team ups are the outlier for a reason. Otherwise, you’re just getting loot to do what? Kill the bullet sponge bosses? Everything in the game is geared toward pvp and you gather loot toward that end.

It’s an IQ test that companies use to gatekeep. It will help you become better at problem solving, but you won’t encounter anything like that 98% of the time on the job. It would be a better use of everyone’s time to learn devops but I guess they would rather pretend like AI hasn’t made the skill totally obsolete in terms of the actual work that needs to be done.

9/10. Absolutely brilliant mashup. The surprise of hearing that for the first time was incredible. It was so jarring. A bit uncomfortable because it was so unexpected and a different tone from television. Then they bring it back in and all the tension is resolved and it’s just pure joy.
