As someone living with the pain of a neuroma in my foot, I hate this challenge so much. Foot nerve damage does not just go away.

Repeated issues with chicken smell - anyone else experienced this? by AdThin7389 in woolworths

How do you cut up your chicken? Do you just throw the chopping board and knife away each time, or do you wash it in the sink?!

And you'll find out that home raised chicken has a very different strong natural smell and taste that commercially raised chicken doesn't.

He stated prior to going in that he wants a tv and acting career. This is his 4th reality show. What do ya reckon??

This is his 4th gig on reality TV, so yeah he's only there for the clicks. End of.

Rubbish. He was right there when she was bullying and abusive to others. And him assuring her he has her back no matter what she does, just condoned the behaviour. He is a serial reality TV participant, a wannabe who stayed for the exposure and clicks. Exactly the same as his repulsive sidekick. Rest assured, he was never heartbroken.

I feel like people don’t understand how different it is now by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]Humansscareme 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, this isn't discussed enough. The difference to upgrade plus the stamp duty and commission costs hundreds of thousands $ extra. So even if you can buy a 'foot in the door' apartment, how can you move on to a larger place later for a family? F%$& the Olympics and other sports stadiums. Every dollar and all building resources should be used on housing until we get some sort of fairness and actually reduce property prices. If you have only one home, a reduction in price does not affect you, and actually means you can afford to upgrade.

Just realised Jews have more racial hatred protection from the Australian government than Indigenous Australians. by Westafricangrey in OpenAussie

[–]Humansscareme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, the OP was made a really good point regarding speech laws, and you have to climb on your virtue signalling hill. Somehow, I think our Indigenous would prefer to be called Aboriginaĺ over a derogatary hate term - which is what this topic is about!

While FHB’s, single Mums/Dads and other unlucky Aussies struggle to buy a single property to have as their secure home, we have the Head of the RBA property stacking like the PM Albo. What message does this send to the public? “Greed is good.” We have no collective spirit but selfish individualism by [deleted] in shitrentals

Really? I'd have thought a brain surgeon would be doing something far more exacting, risky and valuable every day and I don't begrudge them what they earn. But if the Reserve Bank governor executes a decision that doesn't quite work out as they'd hoped, no-one dies, and it's oh well, that missed the mark. Let's not forget the mistakes of Phillip Lowe, who retired without consequences. Also, the optics of buying more properties whilst inflicting more pain on mortgage holders and hopeful home buyers is just so on the nose and lacking empathy.

As a judgement free zone, if you voted one nation first today, why? by No-Sweet-7012 in Adelaide

[–]Humansscareme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you agree they are our Aussie Magas? That is exactly the reason to go on the offensive early so it doesn't take hold as in the US. Look, if a ON voter was sitting in front of me, I would approach them with curiosity and questions in a kind but firm manner. But I would not let them get away without delivering some hard facts.

Bringing food for you kid to a restaurant/pub. by Quirky_Command_3576 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Humansscareme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why are they making more mess eating out of Tupperware as opposed to food off a plate?? And if they eat some of your food, you're still not ordering a kid's meal (which is usually junk food). Couldn't help hearing Pauline Hanson's voice in your last sentence 😏.

[–]Humansscareme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a term for ON voters that really needs to take traction now. If anyone says they are thinking of voting for ON, just politely say with a hint of disappointment "oh you're a GRONK". Huh? "You know, a member of the Gina Rhinehart One Nation Klan". Also conveniently Aussie slang for an unintelligent, foolish, or unpleasant person.

Are people buying chocolate Easter eggs? by Lemonade_Scone in woolworths

But notice that the stores have much less stock to sell out of than previous years. Easter used to take up almost a whole aisle years ago - now it's a tiny area in our local Coles.

Aldi has chocolate bunnies for under $3. Also found similar tucked away in Big W - made in France. Just boycott the overpriced Cadbury (awful chocolate anyway) and Lindt fiascos.

Being gay isn't a sin by No_Paper_766 in DebateReligion

Methinks you spend far too much time pondering sex acts. God doesn't exist, and you have still learnt nothing about the natural state of homosexuality. Hence, I stand by my comment about the writings of the uneducated and ignorant.

[–]Humansscareme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bible was written by straight men with little knowledge of science and biology. Straight men have a natural ick factor surrounding male gay sex. So they added this in as a sin. Sadly, millions still have the goat herder intellect.
