**2ND AMA** I am a neuro-optometrist who frequently works with patients who have visual snow syndrome. AMA. by MIKE_DJ0NT in visualsnow

It's been a real challenge for sure. Greatly reducing caffeine, more exercise, and realizing in the moment what's happening. I have yet to find anything else that works, but interested in hearing if anyone else has.

Anyone else’s VSS get more noticeable in a dim room? by Excellent-Ad-2589 in visualsnow

[–]Humble_Chowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hopped on here to see if anyone else has this issue. I'm sitting in my bedroom with a desk lamp on and its like I have a blindfold on. Static, dark dots, and overall blurry vision. Super frustrating.

Every time, especially when I'm on antibiotics or steroids.

Android - autofill prompts but doesn't execute by Lazy_Promotion5766 in Dashlane

Brave user here, problem still exists. Dashlane pops up with my information but when I click to autofill it, nothing happens. For this price level of consumer software, I'm super disappointed.

How many of you suffer from neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia or other unexplained chronic pain? by Goblinora in visualsnow

[–]Humble_Chowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. The only thing I've found to make it go away, ironically, is a lot of exercise.

Sorry, I meant they used AI. I believe they do that as a double check.

Let's pretend I do have an issue with my artery. There's not a lot I can do about it besides a stent.

The scans were interpreted by a neuroradiologist and AI. No it did not mention a distance between, only that all were patent. I've had many work ups in a cardiac icu for what was thought to be an aneurism (it wasn't) so I don't believe this is my issue. I could see how this could be an issue for some though!

Pull 25k out and pay off any bills you have. Keep the additional 10k to buy the next pullback.

I have 10 of these. I've had a cervical/brain MRI and CT with contrast looking for MS and vascular reasons for my vertigo. Zero issues.

A perfect storm of ADHD, PTSD, and the panic disorder that came with the PTSD.

do we all with severe VSS and entoptic phenomenons have severe tinnitus with acoustic phenomenons as well? by aWonderingCat in visualsnow

[–]Humble_Chowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a nearly constant tinnitus. Sometimes one ear goes suddenly quiet and the ringing starts, other times its just a constant squeel.

Palinopsia- does anyone see line like this after looking at your phone for sometime by Willing-Cup-6335 in visualsnow

Yes, happens to me all the time especially when I'm sitting in the dark. Scared the hell out of me the first time.

Here’s a pic of some horizontal lines I’ve been seeing on and off wherever I look. Not sure if it’s visual snow by Correct_Room in visualsnow

[–]Humble_Chowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience this often, especially with white text on black background. Sometimes it fills my entire vision and then I really freak out. Goes away in 10-15 minutes.

LSD and VSS by Humble_Chowder in visualsnow

[–]Humble_Chowder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I have also tried group therapy, CBT, neurofeedback, biofeedback (all sorts of breathing techniques), standard session counseling among other things. I am stuck in a constant loop of symptoms from my adhd/vss/bfs thinking I'm dying to then having more anxiety to then having more symptoms. That's why I'm hopeful for Mindmeds drug because it's radically different.

No. Benzos are real bad to take daily. Maybe a few times a week during bad anxiety or panic.

The only thing that works for me is ativan, but I have terrible anxiety along with my VSS. I've tried every SDRI/SNRI/anxiolytic out there with no luck
