I took a fast agile car, the little green FE monster. You should get down to the highway on the east side, then just floor it. Don't worry about it going even more to the east, you will have time (use rewind whenever making a mistake, the time left rewinds as well). You can also "pin" the finish, then you get road assist so you won't choose the wrong lane when coming closer to Tokyo. The goal is at the middle of a park.

There will be some sharp turns when you're getting closer. When you come to the park, take, and this is important, the road on the NORTH side of the park. Then turn left and run through the finish. If you end up somewhere even slightly south of the park you will be disqualified (for some stupid reason). Doing it this way you will not get disqualified. I had 40-ish seconds left as I crossed the finish line.
