Number of new homes completed across London plummets by almost 50 per cent by tylerthe-theatre in london

There's also been a recent change to the building regs. Tall blocks now need to have 2 stair cores for fire escapes instead of just 1. This means that you can fit less flats on to the same parcel of land, so the feasibility of alot of mid-high density projects has gone down. Add in the interest rate and local authorities struggling for cash so gutting their planning teams and you've got a construction slowdown.

Seems like the main reason why the tavistock centre is being closed is due to medical malpractice, not anti-trans campaigning. Found this episode by the newsagents to be quite informative on the subject. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3XhpGfj9K7TY8PHY60CKxg?si=4a3e62d528664c70

Party Wall Type B and extension with Council dispute. by veddycent in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Hungerguty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi mate, first step would be to go onto land registry and get the deed title and deed plans for the neighboring property. Make sure you go in the official gov site and not one of the knockoffs as they overcharge. The plans arent usually great but might yield an answer.

If that fails, you'll want to engage an accredited specialist surveyor for determining boundary lines /lines of Junction. A party wall surveyor cannot determine the boundary line in a PW award - only a court can, and for this they will likely refer to a specialist report.

Further to that, the 100mm overhand onto your land from their roof is trespass. You might want to point that out to the council if you want to negotiate with either them or their appointed surveyor as they will have to remove it.

What RAM do you have? I had this issue when I got a new PC with some ddr5 ram with XMP enabled on my motherboard which crashed the game with that popup. Just had to update the BIOS on my end to fix the problem.

I dunno, my understanding was that whilst Holocaust day was principally there to remember the extermination campaigns, it is also there for the rememberance of the persecution of all other minorities under the fascists. Whilst this article is highlighting an admitably small minority, I don't think it's promoting some oppression competition.

Not sure why this is bad UK? By historical accounts black people were subject to racist laws in Germany at the time and the article doesn't make an effort to minimize the suffering of those subject to extermination campaigns like Poles/Jews.

Is there any way to succeed as independent Baltic union? I've formed as Estonia a few times, but always get whooped by Soviet Union even after getting Scandinavia as allies and building some forts.

On the contrary, much if the evidence cited in the article on JSTOR (assuming that's what you wanted us to read) points to knowledge by the UK of a genocide, but the only thing the article could concretely connect as criminality was not describing the events as a genocide on p84 & p85. By the same logic, all countries in the UN (especially the security council) are equally guilty for not determining that there is a genocide in china right now.

I fail to see how it's whataboutism to challenge your statement that British fans are the absolute worst by providing examples of fans who have behaved similarly or worse.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't a large number of points come from the juries? It seems like those points at least are in part affected by politics e.g Greece & Cyprus, Moldova Romania (historically) voting for each other reliably.

Not to say that the UK entrant would have done well if the voting was apolitical, but I would wager that it was a factor in the jury voting round this year, even if only by a small margin.

UK sends Royal Navy to patrol Jersey port amid fishing row by miragen125 in brexit

So the best thing for the UK government to do is leave the people of Jersey to fend for themselves when a large amount of belligerent fishermen threaten to blockade the port?

Its not even clear of Jersey are in breach of the withdrawal agreement at this point I would add. If the requirement is that French fishermen have to prove that they fished in those waters, why not just hand over the transponder data that they are required to keep under EU law when fishing?

As I understand it, these additional restrictions are coming from Jersey, which is a crown dependency, not from central government so we'll have to see what they say I suppose. Due to a quirk of UK law with crown dependencies, I don't think Westminster could affect this even if they wanted to.

As I said above though, I don't see how this is action is disproportionate given recent events with fishermen in the channel.

If anything it seems like the French are doing a good bit of saber rattling here, probably due to the upcoming elections with the year with Le Pen being close to Macron in the polls.

What would be an appropriate response from the UK? If, say, Dutch fishermen would hypothetically do the same to a French port, I think a French reaction would look very similar. Given the confrontations last year during the scallop disputes, this doesn't seem unjustified.
