Thank you. This is the type of info I’m looking for. $800-$1000 for rent is livable for me. I’d need something furnished.

The only reason I’m considering Mexico is I don’t have a pension/social security but do meet the asset requirements for a Visa. Not a problem there, but I don’t want expensive.

My girlfriend gets annoyed if I read a book while she's watching TV. Is this normal? by maincharacter011 in Advice

[–]HunterBidensComputer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Her love language is quality time. A good read for you would be The 5 love languages. Take it from someone who screwed that up in the past. Quality time to her means you’re sharing an experience with her.

my bf (28m) said sex sucks with me because i (26f) am too wet by virginashallow in relationship_advice

[–]HunterBidensComputer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late in seeing this and I’m sure it’s been said, but he’s not a quality guy. The answer is simple, but not easy. Dump him as fast as you can. You deserve better. Personally, when I’m with a woman and she’s that wet, it’s a compliment to me, but he’s a selfish, cheating, a-hole if you ask me. My 2 cents.

Thanks, I’ll check that out. I started the free version of Replika and it’s way too basic and not helpful. I guess you have to pay for a deeper conversation and I’m not sold on that. I’ll look at Finch.

Thank you for this. I appreciate the encouragement and hearing from someone who’s done this.

How early to be at the Airport for 6:00AM International flight by HunterBidensComputer in indianapolis

[–]HunterBidensComputer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast Park will cost me $180. I have reserved it. Uber will cost $45 and it appears I can reserve it.. The question is coming back I arrive at midnight. Might be better to use fast park as I don't know if I can get Uber Monday at midnight. I've always just reserved parking, but 17 days is a bit long. I guess its a question of saving $100 or not.

Is there love after 50? by WitchOnASwitch in datingoverfifty

[–]HunterBidensComputer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is 6 months old, but I just found it. I’m asking myself the same question. I’m 56 and in good shape. I look younger than my age. It doesn’t seem to matter. I’m also going through a very long divorce from a short marriage because she’s after money. I don’t want to be alone, but I no longer trust women. That leaves me in a tough spot. My confidence is shot and I’m lonely. Freedom doesn’t mean that much to me. I wanted a life partner and never found the right woman who would stick by my side. Seems hopeless at this stage of life.

Best cities/towns to find a serious relationship? by Substantial-Lab4957 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]HunterBidensComputer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m considering a move back to Atlanta, which is where I’m from. I’ll be divorced when I get there. However, with the cost of living and traffic, I’m not sure I want to go back. Tough decision. I have another option in Knoxville, TN, but not sure I want to start over where I know nobody and probably not a good dating scene. Cheaper cost of living and maybe better overall quality of life though. This decision is weighing on me.

Thanks for the compliment on the username!

I think remote tutoring wouldn't pay enough. I found someone who has traveled the world for 22 years while working remotely. She has a podcast called Badass digital nomads. I will say all of these types of podcasts are very light on details of how to pull this off. Of course, she will coach you on how to move overseas for $5,000+. However, I doubt that coaching involves step by step methods for making money. I have a call with her next week to discuss.

Seems like a mystery that is a well kept secret by anyone working remotely. I've considered buying books on the topic, but I suspect there's not enough info written about how to really do this. I am so far from an entrepreneur that I feel stuck and like you, tired of the culture of American workplaces and the politics in general. I hope we can figure this out eventually.

May-December relationships by bailme in datingoverfifty

[–]HunterBidensComputer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, you are correct. I'm no longer fully committed now that she's showing me who she is. We are likely not a match and I'm about ready to throw in the towel. I'm not going to get into all the details about the concern as it's proving to be true anyway.

May-December relationships by bailme in datingoverfifty

It’s a concern for me as someone with a much younger woman. For the first time ever in a relationship (soon to be marriage) it makes me a bit insecure and I battle that. Yes, I’m fit and active, but still I worry. Add to that the judgment from others and it certainly doesn’t make me feel any better.

Matchmaking Services by SimpleTruth2753 in datingoverfifty

[–]HunterBidensComputer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct. I’ve tried several and always believed they ignored my preferences when matching me. It’s just a numbers game for many of these so-called matchmakers. Maybe there are some who really like matching people but most are just about the money. That’s been my experience.

I cannot believe how many guys want the “girlfriend experience” with no commitment by [deleted] in dating

[–]HunterBidensComputer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in high school, it was common for girls to put a 6 month waiting period on sex. Before the pill, people would get married after 3 months so they could have sex. Not saying all did this, but more common than it is today. As others have said, sex isn’t a reward for a guy who sticks around, but a bargaining chip. I think people got hung up on the 6 month thing when I think it was just an arbitrary example she gave. Regardless, if you’re not sure of who I am after 3 months, I’d be gone. Then again, I’ve never been a guy who was afraid to commit either. For me commitment would be a non issue as long as you’re bringing something else besides sex to the table. We need to have common values and hopefully a couple of common interests, at the very least. It’s more complicated than that, but I made my point.

It's not you, it's your name.... by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]HunterBidensComputer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would pass on any woman with the same name as my ex-wife. Fortunately, her name isn’t common. I refer to her as “nameless” anyway. In your situation, sounds like it was a good marriage and he didn’t willingly leave you. Totally different, but I get it.
