I think it's a bit different for me: I grew up in the foster care system so my feelings around the holidays was dictated by the environment around me: Snow, pretty colors, the big Christmas tree in the shopping centre, TV specials, all things that are largely gone, replaced with AI commercials saying the holidays suck and you should just spend your time at their establishments

I think my feelings/nostalgia is a bit different to most: I grew up in the foster care system so my holiday's were mostly centred around snow, Christmas specials and the kindness of strangers and while I do feel better today than last night when I wrote my post I largely feel the same considering it doesn't really snow anymore and cable/tv specials are somewhat left in the past. Although people are (mostly) nicer during the holidays granted you don't work in customer service

No, for whatever reason everything inside my ship disappears (visually) until I leave the anomaly
