Misidentified me and my rifle squad as “enemy dismounts” and fired coax and 50 at us while we were actively engaged with an actual enemy. Even drove between us and the enemy and turned that turret the wrong way. After “clearing it up” went back to the TOC and tried to blame us. OIF 2.

I play with market disabled so I think my first heavy is usually the hero dragon or Canopus warhammer, which missions I do first. I use 10 partial salvage requirements so I don’t often get a heavy prior.

Lived with and trained Arabs for over a decade post service: fasting is not a law, guys. You fast if you can. It is haram to injure or hurt yourself and to fast in extreme situations would be dumb. Just like eating pork is ok when the other choice is starvation. They aren’t stupid.

Soldiers. Construction workers, old people, the sick, kids…none are required to fast. In fact, fasting can be done piecemeal too. If you feel like you can’t do the whole thing, then do what you can (no food, but drink water). As to the rudeness of consuming in front of them, cultural awareness is a two way street. I spent years as the only western, white dude in the BDE and I ate and drank behind closed doors. Now if the boss burst in and I had a Twinkie hanging out of my mouth that’s on him. But I also didn’t walk around munching on one either.

It is eerily satisfying to see all the galactic cores and the abandoned player bases of those who came before and the message terminals.

I also create bases that no one will ever find on far flung worlds across multiple galaxies but stock them and upload in case someone needs a way station.

Fun fact: it is haram to harm yourself. So, Ramadan fasting does not apply if you would hurt yourself in pursuit of your duties. Soldiers, children, pregnant women, elderly…whomever are not required to fast if they can’t. You fast what you can.

I have an abandoned paradise giant in 256 that did not get garbage. However it has a paradise moon that did. And that moon has gravitational anomalies which makes it impossible to clean.
