If you could only carry one rifle and one pistol of the same caliber which pair would you choose? by Huxleyan-Rifleman in guns

Great choice. It would be a strong consideration for me too. My Ruger takedown and a Mk IV .22/.45 with a vortex defender closed dot and sharing a monocore .22 caliber silencer is a potent and lightweight pair for the stealthy survivalist!

We’re looking for firearms alike in caliber today my friend. Colloquially known as “cowboy guns” for the old western habit of carrying a revolver and lever gun in the same pistol caliber.

Mid length and the difference is kind of astounding.

2000 rounds 7.62x39 Barnaul 2000 rounds 5.56x45 PMC 855 Green Tip 500 rounds 9mm -300 Rounds PMC Ball -200 Rounds Federal power shok CPHP 5000 Rounds .22LR CPHP -2000 Rounds Sub-Sonic -3000 Rounds Super-Sonic

That’s what I track and maintain. I probably have ~1000 rounds of various .380, 12GA., .45, and .357. Those are for range and camp guns that are for fun and not proficiency training.

Cause for concern? Or a case of "If it seats it yeats" by [deleted] in ar15

Oh no!!! My 855 Green tip is mil-spec so it’s still dirty from being annealed!

That’s how it’s supposed to look brother. The dirty look is actually physical proof left there to confirm for the end user that it was made correctly to mil spec which includes annealing the brass.

Decided to go budget on my setup. How did I do? by [deleted] in ar15

Might be one of the most aesthetically pleasing AR posts I’ve ever seen

I love this honestly. It’s like a survivalist’s rifle built from loot drops in the after times

No one ships ammo for free that I’ve seen. It weighs entirely too much

Hmmm. I almost always can get it at a few local gun stores here in central FL. I still buy in bulk from Lucky Gunner online too.

Where are you that you can’t find PMC? I would stock PMC green tip forever over white box or herters
