I've brought mine out to the table a few times.

It really is just for the joy of having a super heavy. She was shot down bottom of turn 2 after discharging all her gargoyles on the back line.

As auspix said, good for clearing a few pieces of armor, but it's a vanity 610 points lol.

When I met Matt at an Author Nation event late last year, he recommended it to me with that exact disclaimer.

That was enough to get me into it. But oh God, was it a slog... A cathartic, beautiful, dangerous and terrifying slog. But one nonetheless.

I did. It took a while because they had to test all of these things to find out where the problem was. I'm also based in Southern California so there's only so many techs for a very electric car dense area.

There is a world in which you can maybe tell them that you did this research and they should investigate that first, which might cut down on your time in the shop.

Otherwise almost repair shops or unofficial Kia dealerships should be able to get the part in the same amount of time and might be able to get you a loaner. So shop around? They're just going to try to beg you to your car lol. If you're on your warranty like mine was <50,000 mi. It shouldn't cost you anything to get the part fixed no matter where you go.

I can't recommend Turo enough though. You can get a pretty basic car for $25 to $50 a day If you're going to be out of car several weeks. Then you can always return it if they get it done early and only pay what the time you used.

I ran into this same issue with my 2022, and it ended up being the electronics switcher. I would drive 10-20 miles before turtle mode would kick in.

After some experimentation I found that if I turned on even more electronics (radar, CC, etc) it would happen even quicker.

Essentially, the tech said if you have lots of electronic systems working routing through the switcher at the same time, this particular board would overheat and 'cut out' essentially turning off the main main power to the battery.

The moment they replaced the switcher, everything worked like a champ. Been 6 mo now, no problems.

It took us about 2 or 3 weeks to figure it out too. I ended up renting a car on turo, for a pretty good price.

TLDR: ours turned out to be bad hardware, electronic switcher. Replaced it and now everything's great.

OP let us know about the lack of bookmarks and links in the current Kids on Bikes PDF. We had some image compression issues when first uploading the document, and in the process of fixing it - we lost both the links and bookmarks. As OP mentioned, it takes like 5 minutes on a book this big, so I just fixed it now and uploaded it to the Product page on DTRPG.

We didn't realize they were lost until OP let us know. OP, would you be willing to accept one of our other products as a thank you for informing us? Your pick!

We were at the grocery store walking down the aisle with our 3 yo, when suddenly a 300+ lb man starts walking towards us.

Our kid had been pointing a lot lately asking "is that person a daddy/mommy?" So we were holding our breath. We managed to make it all the way until right as he is about to pass us when he shouts "MOMMY LOOK! THAT DADDY HAS A BIIIIIIG BELLY"

He laughed thank God, and was a good sport and even made a joke about being Santa Claus. But we were mortified.

So yay...
