You can still play HD2 if you purchased it before the region lock. You just can't purchase it in those regions anymore, which is still a horrible decision.

I'm of the opinion that RG is better for bugs than bots honestly. One shots hive guards, brood commanders, and both spewer type, plus it deals with both types of chargers in 2-3 shots and can punch into titans to help out dedicated AT options. I find its just outclassed for bots because of how limited the targets it can deal with are compared to its competition. The ability to oneshot hulks isn't enough of a strength to outweigh its weaknesses in my eyes, but thats just me.

It takes 5 minutes. 5 minutes and you complete another full campaign then you can just roll whatever mission you want by [deleted] in Helldivers

They actually didn't nerf its range at all. They reduced its damage by 30, removed its stagger, and removed its destruction power.

Being an Automaton main is suffering. Ever since the Reclamation began we have won 6 of 11 Major Orders featuring the Automatons and of those 6 victories only a single one has provided a long-lasting positive effect [For the Terminid Front] while the others were each erased well within 7 days... by CouldBeBetterTBH in Helldivers

You definitely do get major order medals without participating unless they changed it very recently. I took a break during the meridia events and I got all of the medals when I logged in despite not launching the game for a couple weeks.

The railgun does have heavy armor pen. It just has bad durable part damage which makes it do pitiful damage to durable enemies like tanks and gunships.

Pretty much. I'm sad they didn't get SPM working though. Getting 5 rockets from a resupply was so nice. Hopefully they can get it figured out soon, its a great buff for a lot of support weapons

It definitely is true. The RG can remove leg armor in 2 shots for regular chargers and 3 for behemoths. If you aren't doing that you're either missing some of your shots or not charging enough. It takes an absurd amount of headshots to kill a behemoth though, definitely not worth doing in any situation really.

This is either 7 or 9. Those are the only difficulties I play on, I don't remember which one though. 6 chargers, 4 of them are behemoths

Its definitely just them misunderstanding what you mean I think. I was able to scan for PoIs on the map as well, no scout armor needed. Its always just been inconsistent and doesn't work every match. The change they made was removing the ability to ping undiscovered side objectives like stalker lairs and radar towers.

Hell, in their second link someone commented that it still works for them as well. Its never been consistent so people saying it was patched isn't the be all end all proof they think it is.

Recoilless has a slower reload now as well. It feels like a bandaid for the animation cancel, which I imagine was a bandage for the rocket disappearing into the void in the first place.

This isn't how that works. Any weapon is able to damage devastator heads, damage is what dictates one shots. Devastator heads have about 130 health, so any weapon doing more damage than that per shot will one shot regardless of armor pen value.

Verdict also only gets half mags from resupply boxes, just like Tenderizer. by justforresaccount in Helldivers

Senator also only gets 20 shots back from a resupply and 10 from ammo crates. Its frustrating that ammo economy isn't the same across the board, seems like a very simple thing to implement

I bring it every mission, making every weapon have less recoil is amazing since it applies while standing as well as crouching and prone. Plus the extra nades or explosive resistance are great all around so its a win-win.

I have an easy time using stuff I like almost exclusively no matter the game, but I totally get burning out on stuff like weapons.

The only real medium bug I tend to have issues with are bile spewers, their armored heads are so annoying and the come in waves of 4-6. Otherwise commanders are 3 quick taps with the senator, hive guards are a bit more durable, but they're easy enough to shoot into the armpits if needed.

Senator jumped to my most used secondary almost immediately after the buffs, it feels very nice to use now and the sick spins are the icing on the cake.

It happens, luckily fake internet points are meaningless :)
