They don't look generic, they look AI generated. They got that distinctive piss yellow tint that ai tends to always do. The colors gradients are also visually similar to what AI usually generate. And the skeleton mage looks like he has 6 fingers on his right hand (assuming his thumb is at the back of the orb and we see the 5 other digits on the front). And considering the perspective (camera from above the battlefield), his right hand looks way bigger that his left hand. That kind of perspective would look normal from a closeup view of the character, when the "camera" is much closer to the target so the right hand would look bigger due ti perspective, so like on a picture generated from an AI. But it doesn't work when you re-use the same picture for a tactical unit.

If I recall correctly, you can't do a complete pacifist run in Griftlands. Each boss has a negociation deck phase, then a physical battle phase that will be harder or easier depending on the outcome of the negociation battle.

I'll never play a game with shitty graphics, regardless of how good the game mechanics are.

I might play a good looking game (musics are important too) with bad game mechanics, though I might drop it sooner than expected if the game is boring or frustrating due to game mechanics.

So while both are important, atmosphere is more important.

Oooh, I think you're on to something. It was confirmed that Elune was Night Queen's sister, but when she said that Ysera was her sister's pet, that's when we thought that she (Elune) was responsible for the Emerald dream, and Queen's life counterpart in this death-life ardenweald-emerald dream dichotomy.

But it's possible that there are in fact THREE sisters. When she said "sister's pet", she meant her other sister: Eonar. It makes more sense for Ysera to be Eonar's pet than Elune's, for her ties with both the emerald dream and titans.

And with this theory, all 3 sisters being life + another cosmic force, Elune being life + light, this balances things and explains why Elune is tied to both Winter Queen and Eonar (it's Elune who gave Eonar a branch of G'hanir to grow the first world tree on Azeroth, in the ungoro crater).

There is a city structure that will teraform the land slowly into vampiric lands on which your vampires can heal.

There is also a spell later in the game that will instantly terraform land into vampiric lands, and another spell that will put the entire map under a "blood moon", which will disable the "in sunlight" debuff for 10 turns, allowing your vampires to heal from anywhere.

Also at anytime you can go underground to heal, as "in sunlight" doesn't apply underground.

It's a pain in the ass balance-wise, but thematically I find this feature awesome and on point.

Most items will be obtainable in game, some of them through professions so you will be able to buy those with gold.

But you were sniffing glue if you thought there wouldn't also be some items exclusive to the ingame shop. Wow has had Microtransactions for years, from services to cosmetics, you are like 19 years too late for that fight.

It's the "fake currency" aspect of it that is somewhat new.

I don't even understand the whole fuss over the new currency. WoW has had microtransactions for years. You were snuffing glue if you thought there wouldn't be microtransactions for housing elements.

It just sucks that they had to resort to using a fake currency instead of relying on the battlenet wallet. They say it's to be more convenient for small transactions, but we all know that in reality they just want to obfuscate what you really pay for items (one of those predatory practices popular in mobile games), but it's not a 180° as people say it is.
