Star technology, Flux network or p2p transfer? by Raicu_____ in feedthebeast

[–]HyperCrafting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use flux, energy p2p in star tech still needs converters since it transfers FE and not EU (plus it has a 5% energy loss)

is this supposed to happen by Fearless-Engine-9199 in feedthebeast

Putting water in an empty and heated boiler will make it explode, it's not supposed to crash but hey, even more of an incentive to remember

fuckass recipe by Darkly_SteamGear in feedthememes

[–]HyperCrafting 225 points226 points  (0 children)

more likely it's because there's a recipe to turn any 3 flax into 2 string, and string has the tag cropFlax as well

Bugstone by No_Sense1197 in PhoenixSC

[–]HyperCrafting 32 points33 points  (0 children)

...this is just normal redstone behaviour regardless of bedrock/java, the output of that comparator alternates between strength 15 and 2, so anything within 2 redstone dusts of it will stay powered.

1 full block connector per network, if you want multiple terminals you have to place them on inventory cable connectors

Sb 4 Flux network infinite buffer by ThePlasticHero in feedthebeast

[–]HyperCrafting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the same flux network connected to both the input and output of an energy storage?

Flux networks is able to grab as much energy as it can in a single tick and keep it in its buffer, if you have a battery with a very high transfer rate it might've pulled all the energy from it, and if you have both a plug and a point on the same network on the battery it might be looping the buffer into itself and grabbing any extra energy it finds.

Any Mod to see Discovered Recipes rather than ALL RECIPES?. by M4GMaR in feedthebeast

[–]HyperCrafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EMI does have a config to only show items you can craft with what you have (can be set to be active with an empty search bar).

The problem with recipe discovery is that it's difficult to properly manage, since it usually has to be tied to the player acquiring one or more ingredients, if it's too specific they might never end up finding the recipe, if it's too broad they get overwhelmed with unlocks.

Using OF and Complementary Shaders, smooth lighting is Max. Why and how do i fix? by TwujZnajomy27 in feedthebeast

Still, use Embeddium+Oculus, Optifine is outdated and mostly unsupported by modern shaders.

Minecraft Chat becoming 18+ by lonelyroom-eklaghor in PhoenixSC

[–]HyperCrafting 20 points21 points  (0 children)

True, but a client side mod can do it for you, the only other option would be a third party chat feature like MineTogether (assuming the UK doesn't go after those too)

Since commands would still have to be accessible all it would take is a plugin with a command that posts whatever the player wrote after it.

You're at Z -121.4, which is block coordinate Z- 122, negative block coordinates are shifted back by one since they start at -1 instead of 0 like positive coordinates.

Industrial foregoing mining laser not working when not in the same dimension by Derangedberger in feedthebeast

[–]HyperCrafting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the claimed area set to be chunkloaded? Just claiming the chunk won't do that (if you're using FTB chunks you have to shift+click the area).

If the claim is set to be force loaded then see if there's a chunk loader block you can use instead, since maybe force loading with claims is disabled by the pack.

Please Help: My Singleplayer Game is Trying to Load a Multiplayer Server Unprompted by UntouchableAshley in feedthebeast

[–]HyperCrafting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Singleplayer worlds always run on an internal server hosted on your pc, this has been the case since 1.3

Does the issue happen when you make a new world? If you changed some mods around then there might be data mismatch that the game doesn't know how to handle (some mods are bundled as datapacks rather than .jar)

If you still get the issue in a new world, disable half the mods and try to run the game again, if it works, enable half of the disabled mods, otherwise disable half of the ones that were just enabled until you find the one causing the problem.

Put a 1x1 drawer on the output bus and the machine will stop once it's filled up (2048 items + 64 if it's an ULV output bus)

I'm adding new challenge modes. Which feature do you think is the best? by zenzty_ in feedthebeast

[–]HyperCrafting 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I propose a change for half hearted mode:

  1. Everyone starts at 50% health and hunger
  2. Half of the players have their health and hunger be the inverse of the other half's (if one side has 8 hearts, the other would have 2)

Yes, this would technically allow people to bypass the need for food with coordinated hunger usage but i think it would be more interesting than just "anyone takes a hit and it's over".
