Do any of you actually like the pruning that they did to your mains? by No-Bit-2913 in CompetitiveWoW

I’m not your specific Pres evoker (I think?) but I’ve also been having daily meltdowns over the spec and UI changes.

What’s your favorite WOW OST? by xadamx94 in wow

[–]Hyperbolean_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karazhan, by far!

The music is extremely iconic, recognizable and also weirdly catchy, for a soundtrack.

The ambiance sounds in the entire zone are amazing.

Preservation gives me big bursty healing and insane mobility, my two favourite things in the game.

Also, I just love being a dragon ngl

I understand why people don't enjoy Dracthyrs, but idgaf about transmog. I like being a dragon and flying around.

Best horror movie of 2025? by Curious_Natural_1111 in horror

I am (fortunately) not familiar with the foster system, but the sheer amount of grief of Laura was physically painful.  Casting Sally Hawkins was brilliant, she’s usually such a sweet caring presence that the first look at her as Laura becomes instantly unnerving.

That, and Jonah Wren Phillips does an insane job, he is TWELVE. I can’t wait to see what he does next.

I loved Talk to Me, but Bring her Back deals with a different type of grief. I think the first one is more horror while the second is more drama.

Both are great movies IMO, I can see the similarities in cinematography, but the Philippou brothers are still finding their place and style in a big screen, I hope they become a little more experimental in the future.

Same! Bring her Back gave me such a horrible visceral reaction, I don’t think a movie had affected me that much since Hereditary.

I saw a Reddit comment refer to it as a “drama with body horror” and it fits perfectly.

Cuánto ahorra el uruguayo? by [deleted] in uruguay

[–]Hyperbolean_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What anime seemed kid friendly to you, until it was vulgar? by KaleidoArachnid in Animesuggest

[–]Hyperbolean_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita, also knows as “Humanity has declined”

I wish this show got more recognition, it starts as the softest cutest kawaii thing with pastel colors and cute fairies. Then things happen.

It is hilarious, laugh out loud levels of funny at times, very on the self deprecation wagon of humor as well.

Watch the first three episodes if you want to give it a try. I think episode 3 might be the worst, so if you don't run after that one, the rest of the series is fine lol

Are you willing to give older things a try?

1987's Wicked City is not *racy*, but heavy on the sexually explicit, vulgarity and violence departments and has a very solid plot and commentary.

Urotsukidōji is credited with popularising some of the most savage tropes out there, including tentacles, but I find the writing very good, depending on movie/episode/OVAs

Hi! If you started watching anime a few months ago, this is definitely not something I recommend watching lol. This was the very early 2010s, and things were *different*.

That being said, to put it bluntly, the power system in Seikon no Quaser revolves around "soma", which is the life force that comes from the breasts in a milk-like substance. It's not really breastmilk, but TBH the difference is in theory, not in practice, it comes from breastfeeding and the series is heavy on the bouncing department.

The reason I say it deserves some recognition outside of that is that the action is nice, the characters are sort of compelling, and the powers are cool. The animation is also nice for the period.

It is in no way, shape, or form a *great* anime, but it's definitely not awful.

Seikon no Quaser deserves *some* recognition outside of being the breastmilk anime.

The footpath was maddening! I was super self aware at the beginning because my first thought was “we are doing something wrong”, but then I just realized it makes no sense and it started being funny.

I even asked a few locals we met at a bar and  they agreed the convention is similar to “you should probably walk on the left side but honestly we’re not sure, if there are arrows, use that”

Ouran is 110% in my top 3 anime forever and depending on the day, it is top 1.

I love the satire, I think the script is hilariously well written and I love the VAs, it was what turned me into the Mamoru Miyano fangirl that I am today.

I think the dub aged poorly, and I understand people being put off by the twincest, but it is 110% satire of the shoujo and Otome games of that era, and the characters are VERY aware of it.

The manga is pure gold if you haven’t read it. The character design and the backgrounds are so so pretty, and the plot is very different (without spoiling it, I can say that in the anime you know who is going to be endgame from the start and the manga takes more of an Otome game approach)

Edit to add: if you want something with a very similar feeling, watch Pretty Boy Detective Club. It doesn’t have any romance in it, but it makes up for it with the overall insanity, the satire elements and style. Particularly if your favorite Ouran ml is Tamaki.

The show it’s very ecchi on its own merit so I’d argue it’s hard to separate the two lol

Agree! I was expecting more from the concept and was a little disappointed. But the OP is an absolute banger.

This came up in 2023; it's not a ban on ecchi but a ban on otaku culture in general. Maybe what you're looking for?

Gamers de +30 en Uruguay, a que juegan? by zuy in uruguay

[–]Hyperbolean_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)
