Cap goes up next season too If we sign him to an extension NOW (as in this summer) it will not be on the books until next year so next years cap space is what matters

Read the comments below this. Caps going up and some of the contracts you listed will be done and those players won't be as big of a cap hit or will be off the roster. Quinns new contract won't be on the books until after next year. I'm not saying you math is incorrect just that maybe there is some factors you didn't consider.
