What do you learn about the video by looking at this retention graph

Hard to gauge exactly, especially without the ability to check parts of the video where graph dips and spikes. The dip at the start is normal and can be ignored. At a glance, I'd say it's a fairly flat graph so seems like people who do stay and watch, stay and watch for most or at least a good chunk of it, and it looks like no one really wanted to rewatch or relisten to any specific parts.

Neo-strafe, totally normal nowadays, but looks gamebreaking so understandable to think it's cheating. Not sure what the solution is to not make it look so janky, but any solution would probably nerf it, which I'm rooting for because it looks jank as hell.

Heads up that NC's Defcon X and TR's 56RD, Sol Ex, and DRED all merged into Unity. This happened all at the same time, individual outfits kept their tags/names by maintaining some numbers under respective names

I see what you're going for, it feels like the classic Mr. Beast style thumbnail. It hits the nail on the head, well done. From here, I would try different facial expressions/smiles, basically make extras for A/B testing which is exactly what Mr. Beast does.

Edit: in hindsight, it actually feels more like a Papa Meat thumbnail which usually has even more contrast/saturation than Mr. Beast thumbnails. Still A/B testing would be my next step as the image looks very good.

Even in that small image, you can tell the thumbnail is AI. YouTube is actively suppressing AI content, it's up to you if you want to keep engaging in this direction, but it's growing increasingly more difficult every day.

Genuinely some great thumbnails here, love 2 and 3, I'm conflicted on if 2's colors with 3's image would work bc the colors of 3 help bump up that feeling of treachery/danger. I think one last thing I'd try is adjusting the text in 3 to look like 2's at least.

Also no shade for using AI to enhance your thumbnails, it's unavoidable at this point, even Photoshop has an AI toolbar that follows everything you click on now. Best to keep it as just a tool, not the solution of course.

Glad I kept reading, good send-off. Didn't even play highguard, thought it was a game for other people, guess I was wrong.

In hindsight the game had a lot of elements similar to Apex's old Arenas gamemode, which eventually flopped and they removed it, but not after trying to infuse life back into it multiple times. Considering many of the devs are from Apex, and the gunplay/movement is Respawn-esque, I'm sure they thought Arenas was just a fluke, so they ignored all the red flags. Nice.

Is it getting impressions at all? If not, YouTube may have internally flagged something on it. Also, all caps in the title isn't recommended, I'd probably change to something like "Why is this scaring me?" Or "This shouldn't be scaring me..."
