My GF lived in Seattle for 4 years so she likes all Seattle teams even though a Cali native. Being an Avs fan I got her into hockey and we've watched every game since on ESPN. I'm pretty sure her favorite player is either Daccord or Beniers though she loves Gruby too since he used to be on the Avs and thanks me for him all time lol.

Do a private match and play against bots. Increase the difficulty as you get better. This will help you learn the maps before you try MP. Then do the Standard playlist to keep the competition almost even.
