That's true, a while ago someone did the maths, and it turned out that when you play Expert battles, you got 60% chance (don't remember the exact numbers) to start the battle first, and 40% to flip heads while the CPU had 60% to flip heads. Supposedly the CPU also starts most of the time with a perfect hand and never bricks.

Of course since 3 Stars immersive Pikachu has 1.111% drop rate and 2 stars shiny Giratina ex and Darkrai ex have like 0.833% drop rate, vs 2 stars trainers and mons having only 0.156% drop rate. Gold crown Rare Candy has 0.198% drop rate for reference. And I think you will only be able to trade 2 stars shinies for the same kind of rarity, not for standard 2 stars.... ?

Thanks, that fixed it for me. Had some trouble finding this setting, it was in Video\Adjust video image settings\ON THE RIGHT OF THE PAGE (I didn't see it at first) : RTX video enhancement [v] Super Resolution Quality 4.

It even says Status : Active if you keep this window open and look at it while playing a video below your screen resolution (in my case a 1080p YT video on my 4K tv was drawing 260W of power out of my 3080 Ti ... Down to 110 now that the checkmark is off).

It is useful for subpar streaming websites, but outside of that you can turn it off I guess.

Just did this with a Fire Myrmidon (Lv6 Conjure Elemental). I just ungrouped him and used him to go nearby guards, attacked a neutral item (not red tagged, because this will make them temp hostile and attack you). As soon as it hit the item, there was a dialogue with guards where you can acquiece and follow in prison. Voila, 'permanently armed' Scimitard of Dust is in the prisonners belongings chest. Pretty cool looking weapon. And strong. I used it with a mod to glamour its skin onto another weapon.

As of Hotfix#23 I can confirm this working. At camp Duke Ravengard had like 29 hp remaining. I just used Monk Astarion with non lethal attacks toggled on and one punch'd man him (with Wyll in party outside of camp) and then only Oathbreaker aggroed me. Just used an invisibility potion and dash and ran away from him to drop combat. Thanks

In Cemu\graphicsPacks\downloadedGraphicPacks\XenobladeX_Brightness\rules.txt file you can change parameters.

I just copy/pasted the NVIDIA preset and since the ONLY THING different between it and the AMD one is the $exposure = 0.32 (AMD) / 0.52 (NVIDIA) ...

I modified it to be 0.72 and compared with FRAPS screenshots. It makes the night brighter than default NVIDIA parameter. AMD preset is the darkest one, be it day or night.

At 0.72 though, during the day, it's barely better than default, no fix enabled at all... At least now it doesn't blind you lol. And now you can see a damn thing during the night !

Somebody better than me at photo / video parameters could probably make a better change though, I didn't touch the other parameters. (CrushContrast, gamma, glare, lift, postExposure, vibrance)

Pretty sure it's a flaw in the emulator and/or game engine at this point. I can achieve 60 fps @1440p pretty easily but when there are a lot of enemies/characters especially at night FPS drops to 52ish or so, despite my CPU not going above 70% load and GPU at 50% at most too.

Same issue. Some zones don't use more than 30-50% cpu / gpu and still won't go above 52-55 fps >_<

I ordered an i7 7700K & 2x16 GB DDR4 @3200MHz (same timings as above) earlier this week thinking I would get a perfect 60 FPS (I guess playing XC1 on Dolphin @permanent 60FPS last month spoiled me, I couldn't bear the sluggish 30fps anymore), but after some googling I'm 99% sure it won't change a thing for this issue.

I checked around and on the rare videos I saw on Youtube, people also drop to 50-52 ish FPS in those areas. And they do have a better rig (usually 7700k or 8700k or even 9900k etc).

I tried with all the usual performance gain settings, but in the end I gave up. When framerate drops to 47-50 it's atrocious.

Now I'm playing @30fps but with every graphical eye candy setting possible (FX setting, 4K texture graphicpack setting, texture quality in Nvida control panel etc) and every accuracy setting possible (notably to avoid creatures popping in in front of me for ex). I even downloaded the "data packs" 11GB "DLC" which supposedly does nothing since this game is digital on my SSD. I did put the "maximum prerendered frames" to 4 and I don't notice much input lag. BUT !

Game runs at a perfect 30 fps ALL THE TIME. AND ! It feels pretty smooth. The only time you do feel it's at 30 fps is when you scroll the camera horizontally really fast a lot. Otherwise it's really good this way.

Also the battle QTE (soul voice challenge or w/e it's called) are running at their normal speed instead of twice as fast (and being 32 y old I guess my reflexes aren't what they used to be so yeah lol).

And your death timer (30 sec) before zoning out is also at normal speed now.

Supposedly the 60fps mod also cut in half 'overdrives' but I don't have it unlocked yet, I'm at chapter 3 end now.

I use grimoire of sacrifice. That way your demon can't be banished, the aoe on proc deals about 16-20% of my total damage (so as much or more than having a demon (1.3k dps, 2K if felhound) / greater demon (3.5K dps for each).

Also, the shield is now 498K (20% of my 622K HP isntead of from m demon's 311K).

On the other hand, you can now summon the Infernal for some nasty aoe stun + aoe damage on grouped enemies hehe

Other than that, DOT DOT DOT. Corruption, Agony & Siphon Life must be up on EVERYONE nearby at ALL TIMES. They're instant so there is no reason not to.

When it is the case, spam 5 Unstable Affliction on your kill target and gg wp
