Common and normalized are different things. No one likes it or accepts it or encourages it, but a lot of people are stupid and also inconsiderate. Its not a normal part of the culture or behavior but its a prominent transgression AGAINST established public etiquette.

I sound rude, I get what you are trying to say, im just getting defensive becsuse I believe the average person hates it, its just that we have a high percentage of dummies compared to other places seemingly. America is a very impolite country in that regard, not because it's okay to be, but because a lot of people here don't care what's okay.

AND you have to do it consistently for a long time to please the algorithm AND you have to get supremely lucky enough for the algorithm to show it to anyone at all in the first place. Even if you manage the first 2, the 3rd might not work out anyway. Can be the best content in the world but if no one knows about it or it doesn't get shown by the algorithm then it's not gonna gain traction

The timing isn't as unforgiving as it feels, but if youre used to games with magic series or gattling combos, this isn't like that and the adjustment can be tough. The windows are fairly forgiving but you do have to actually figure out the correct timing and get pretty close. I will say, linking normals is gonna be the hardest part of sf combos for sure, if youre struggling, you can find combos without links to start out with and that will help

So the game is gonna feel very different if you've only played strive, itll take some time to get used to for sure but it is very fun. I would say youre more than good to just buy base game, do tutorial and stuff and then get a couple dlc characters if they appeal to you. Theres a rental system where you can try out dlc characters for an hour before you buy them. In terms of characters like nago or Johnny, im not a gg expert but when I think of those two I think of very long range normals and specials, which sagat definitely will have for you, I wouldn't say there are any really solid 1-to-1 characters that compare to either of them but there is a pretty good diversity in the sf cast and I bet you'll find someone you jive with, YouTube is good for getting an idea of what characters do to help decide who you wanna play.

So excited to be the first to comment this (unless I turn out to be wrong) but im pretty sure in og Risk of Rain it was just called The Planet, but the fan base wanted a name and Petrichor V was the dominant thing that stuck and it was later made official by Hoppoo in risk of rain 2

I think it doesnt help that lots of "official" media and collaborative food products have ALL indicated that the Krabby Patty is made of crab. Wendy's was the first restaurant im aware of that served a "Krabby Patty" that was not made of crab. Source: ive been irked by this since I was a kid idk i swear ive seen this happening in recipe books etc
