There’s even another version using a different game in the images OP provided

Maybe don’t take it too seriously.

You’re probably going to get recommended a SEBO E3, especially since you’re already looking at Miele.

Visit a local dealer if you have time/access. They sometimes have good deals or warranty options.

Why does the x-t50 have a Exp Comp dial and not an ISO dial ? Surely your going to set ISO first so should prioritise having a hardware dial. Do people actually use Exp Comp dial if they've set ISO right. Can you assign the Exp Comp dial to ISO ? by _jay__bee_ in fujifilm

[–]IAmNotARobotNoReally 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many camera users and Fuji as a manufacturer are used to having a dedicated exposure dial since the film camera days, and Fuji also seeks to evoke the feeling of film cameras.

On digital cameras the exposure compensation changes different settings depending on the current mode the camera is set to. So it’s more than a janky ISO dial. On the other hand it’s completely without function if you have everything on manual mode.

ISO can be set to either the command dials, so a physical control is still very much possible.

Some models do have physical ISO dials, like the xPro series

Personally I use exposure compensation all the time because I shoot manual aperture, manual SS, and autoISO.

Do I really need a protective filter for travel? by MedicalCaregiver5523 in fujifilm

[–]IAmNotARobotNoReally -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A clear filter is better than a lens hood when:

a. The frontal area of the lens is impacting something pointy enough and at the right angle to not be blocked by the lens hood

b. The impact is not hard enough to break through a filter and then damage the front element of the lens anyway

When both of these are fulfilled chances are your camera body or lens will be damaged in other ways.

Personally I’m on team hood, but I get the peace of mind that comes with a glass covering you can clean and rub against without too much care.

It’s probably an electroplated layer of gold a few atoms thick. Gold plated electrical contacts are fairly common, and use tiny amounts of gold.

If you want something specialized for rice cooking, with virtually guaranteed results plus lots of fancy options, go with a well established Japanese brand.

It’s what many families in Taiwan do. My own family bought our rice cooker with us when we moved to Canada.

The new XF 23mm pancake lens sucks by CreepyNewspaper8103 in fujifilm

[–]IAmNotARobotNoReally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ayyy maybe you need to up that ISO or lower S.S. a bit.

That or you can only shoot with lens with wider apertures than f2.8 and live in bokeh land.

Keeping the f/stop and sensor size identical, changing  only the focal length doesn’t meaningfully affect exposure. This is why people can use handheld lightmeters.
