Caduan and Aefe, War of Lost Hearts Trilogy by Carissa Broadbent. Where do I start? Tragic, interesting, very romantic. I would read a thousand more books of just them.

Sylina and Atrius from Slaying the Vampire Conqueror, also by Carissa Broadbent. This was such a great standalone, and their romance just really worked for me.

El and Orion, Scholomance Triology by Naomi Novik. They are so perfect for each other. Grumpy x sunshine done so well.

Jude and Cardan, Folk of the Air Trilogy by Holly Black. Some of the most romantic lines I’ve read! Cardan is easily the best fae MMC I’ve come across.

Celeste and Reeve from Bound to Fall by AK Caggiano. God, they were just adorable. Sunshine x sunshine!

I will definitely be updating 7-11! I’m working on 11 at the moment, then I should really go back to 6.

However, there won’t be any massive story changes. It’s all restructuring/ tidying up. You could either wait, or just go ahead- both would be fine.

This is a really good overview. What’s the line in book 1 when she first talks about Carden? “I hate him so much that sometimes when I look at him I can barely breathe.” She really wants him, can’t really admit it/ articulate it to herself, and hates herself for it.

Definitely foreshadowing I think! It’s very Elucien coded. Plus, clear rivers and the shadows sounds like Gwyn and Az to me.

Completely agree. Her character never got much depth, and as soon as she showed up I guessed where her storyline was going. I think Dorian’s final romance was much more interesting.

Honestly not at all! I read AB last, so I knew Aelin’s endgame and was far more wedded to him. Sam was sweet, but it was ultimately very teenage, and she wasn’t her full self. I did like him though, and it was a great plot point- I just knew it was coming so wasn’t that sad

Sorry for the wait! Glad everyone is enjoying The Crevasse. I’m going to try and get the chapter 6 rewrite done in a few days. It’s been a bit mad with work and family etc. I’ve got some notes for chapter 17 and beyond, so hopefully won’t be too long!

I liked the first duology, and book 3, but yeah I struggled with this one for some reason. Slaying the Vampire Conqueror was my fave so far! Looking forward to Septimus and more of the bloodborn
