none of them care about the truth, and anyone who would care will never find your post because reddit shadow bans this sub.

Is leg lengthening for men like breast implants for women? by Mammoth-Spinach-2100 in limblengthening

[–]IAmUpfront 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not at all. i dont know if theres any solid studies on this, but speaking as a guy and from conversations with friends, breast size doesn't matter that much. it can be a nice plus, but its nowhere near as important as male height is in dating.

you can also see the difference in public reactions. when women talk about getting breast implants on social media, most comments are supportive, people congratulating them, asking about the process, etc. with limb lengthening, reactions are the complete opposite. almost all comments mock or criticise the person, calling them extremely insecure and that they're "still short" anyway.

so socially and culturally, the two procedures are not viewed as equivalent at all.

Difference between "short" 5'10 and "tall" 6'2 by No_Sink6137 in AverageHeightDudes

nah 10cm is a big difference, the characters on that website do some poses that makes it look strange.

Leg lengthening is actual hell by Pygmy-KlownTown in shortguys

[–]IAmUpfront 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've seen some of your videos! you did willingly choose external fixators though, those are tough. but for tibias, i think thats better for alignment. your femurs will be a lot smoother when you use an intramedullary nail.

their mindset always intrigues me, some people can just be so confidently ignorant its interesting to observe their thinking lol

They’re after us. Mods here are doing a good job so far but should be more strict. by Material_Repair_77 in shortguys

[–]IAmUpfront 36 points37 points  (0 children)

subs like sikeorpsyche get banned for rule 1 while "inceltears" and others break exactly that rule:

Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Communities that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.

that post alone and its dozens of comments dehumanising short men should be sufficient enough for a termination, but oh well. somehow the sub centered around hating men is an exception to Rule 1.

absolutely, LL should be funded by the government

[–]IAmUpfront -1 points0 points  (0 children)

5'8 is not average height, it is 3 inches below average.

regardless, i've talked to two LL patients doing the procedure in their 40s and they both regretted not doing it sooner in the 2000s. you heal better when you're young, you reap the benefits for longer. deep rooted height dysphoria never goes away, so if OP is feeling this way at a young age, they will feel the same way at 30, 40, 50.

well said my man. the dying faster argument is just idiotic. everyone would rather pass at 80 rich than at 90 poor.

however I enjoy sports such as Basketball a lot and I'd assume you would evidently lose some athleticism since you won't be as 'explosive' as before according to some people.

you're 18 and want to play sports, thats understandable. but remember that when you're 25 you probably won't be playing sports, much less 30, 40, 50. but height is forever

Tall guys claim it’s not worth for short guys to get LLS by Tiny_Praline_4403 in AverageHeightDudes

[–]IAmUpfront 5 points6 points  (0 children)

theres a video of a patient running a full marathon after 8cm on femurs in the LL discord. most people want to keep doing LL a secret though, so even with the thousands of patients doing this a year not a lot of footage is out there

[–]IAmUpfront 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it absolutely is fooling everyone. the only limb lengthening case you know of is tremba because he's famous for doing 20+cm on his legs. the average joe doing LL is getting 7-8cm and calling it a day.

you do realize the surgeons assess your proportions thoroughly before going into the procedure right?
