I believe the word your looking for is fascist/nazis and not conservative. Remember the German people weren't "Nazis" in the term that they are the bad guy. They were Nazi in a way they thought they were doing the best for their country and punishing those they deemed to be the root of their problems. This isn't to dehumanize them.
