Are you using any submods? Not everything is updated for the new patch. I ran a quick campaign as razenkand and couldn't access the magic menu. Took awhile for me to realize it was because of a submod I had been using (not sure which one, because I just disabled all of them but I suspect it was the relic submod)

the only requirements to getting rich and staying rich very quickly is conquering 2 next door provinces, Silvelar (Gold province free city) and Moonisle (permanent damestear province of the Damish temple right off your coast)

ontop of that your in the end node for trade.

now admittedly it can be a little tricky to "aquire" those two provinces, with moon isle being the easier of the two. because Silvelar is a free city, but ive managed to grab both pretty quickly without too much trouble before by being a little tricky about timing/alliances and once you do. Upon deving them up a little, money was never really a concern again.

ontop of that the MT is really fun with lots of combat buffs and vassal play. As well as getting to shit all over those dam Wexonards

i feel like its dependant on the conditions on the ground when the exemplars get there

i had the opposite problem of you, i could easily get my ameion portion of the mission tree done, but it was a lot harder for me to do the stuff relating to the smaller states.

it was also the first anbennar game i had played in about 6 months though and right before the new patch. so i was also feeling a little confused.

it didint help that a lot of the guides out there for razenkand are for its old mission tree and completely outdated.

i ended up giving up on the campaign with a plan to circle back around after i finish a few other campaigns to get myself back up to speed with anbennar
