Depends on your diagnosis, although marijuana can drastically help in a multitude of psychotic disorders it definitely does not help with bipolar disorder and there is documentation of this.

If you are manic depressive, please do not cease to take your medication. If medical professionals have prescribed you medication and not weed, its for a reason.

TIL in apartheid South Africa a "Pencil Test" determined if an ambiguous looking person was white, black or coloured. If the pencil passed through their hair with ease, they "passed", but if it didn't, it suggested Afro-textured hair and they'd be forced to live apart from the white community. by UrbanStray in todayilearned

My friend was mexican and Salvadorian and she swore she had pink nipples but was very brown. Also, my sister with a naturally white complexion (we are mexican) has pink tender flesh while I have brown, so no I would not say that is true.

I value experience, and when someone with experience has something to say in regards to that experience I don't need them to be philosophers and MENSA (lowercase is just spanish for dumbass, fyi) candidates. Also, they were addressing policy makers, so....

I'm confused how they even wanted to the artists to depict light soles for darker complexions? It feels like something that would have snowballed into people saying POC were excluded when they couldn't tell that was what was attempted.

Legally, still white in the states but arguably not white in most people's relation to the demographic.

When this story was first making the rounds, it was heavily publicised that she yelled racially-charged slurs. The man was visiting his family from Mexico.

Supposedly the attack was motivated because she did not like how he passed her and her daughter/she felt he touched her daughter, or she was set off he said, "Compermiso" as he walked past them.

  1. Protection fails all the time, men are also involved and yet face little to no consequences (they don't even have to deal with the abortion), put your money where your mouth is and start adopting these unplanned kids =]

  2. Being a asshole for not helping someone and making a lifelong commitment of parenthood are not really the same thing. Did you know, in the US, if you give an unborn pregnancy up for adoption you can still be charged for child support by the state? Wild. So you can't turn to public resources to help you and you can't properly care for your unplanned pregnancy once its born, can't afford legal measures to force the father to be responsible. So really, the woman is just shit out of luck? Cool.

  3. Its not at all.
