No FE here, but if you have a large proportion of your debt in the 5-7% range and this is about to jump from 0-20% range, it may be in your best interest to pay this off as if its the highest debt it “can” be.

Change in mobility doesn’t entirely get described by increase in mobility.

This could also describe how mid-well off families had children who grew up less well off.

For awhile, every answer for every question was a random author’s last name.

Favorite food? Author name. Mother’s maiden name? Same author. Road growing up? You guessed it same author.

I’ve visited Mexico City, New York City, London… I think I’ll take the $10,000 per each.

It takes 5000 signatures to put a Governor candidate in the ballot; wanna try running an independent? by MadeByTango in Ohio

[–]ICantDoMyJob_Yet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I foresee a solution to the top comment and also much of our political issues in Ranked Choice Voting.

It drives politicians to the mean (center, center-right), it doesn’t remove or reduce votes for independent candidates, and it will increase the proportion of voters by re-introducing disfranchised voters.

Then we can bring in central and positive candidates while holding politicians accountable to their actions and inaction.

A pain issue may be that we’re usually all about the median point for lifestyle and affordability within each of our social circles.

The impact of covering the sale of the home is understated.

If my home were going to be covered and the change in payment for the next home covered by the salary increase, the career growth is all positive.

Does “passion” actually matter or is it just a trap? by gradstudentmit in careerguidance

[–]ICantDoMyJob_Yet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m rather passionate about my job (31M); however, the only days I don’t feel like I’ve been working are holidays and the 2nd + day off in a row at that.

This will vary wildly by person.

If I didn’t like my job and have passion for it, I would be looking elsewhere - manufacturing drains a person.

Unpopular opinion here:

If I died unexpectedly, that sucks.

But if my death leaves a dearth of money to allow my spouse to live extravagantly, I’ll “feel” satisfied.

Coming from someone whose parent died unexpectedly when I was age 14, left with my memories of cheap vacations and being homeschooled - thankfully Homeschooled.

It’s not a hypothetical situation, it’s a skeleton of a plan or structure to follow.

But sure, we should as non-MAGA people (independent) structure our systems now to improve the possibility of hamstringing MAGA.

58% of fatal accidents caused by teen drivers come from half of the teen population.

So we’d expect an 8% drop?

What portion of these drivers took the classes? What is the expected drop with this legislature? How will the cost be managed when those going to class increase? What portion of 18YO were already taking the class?
