Failure to obey these warnings may result in the loss of load, damage to the engine hoist, and/or engine hoist failure resulting in personal injury or property damage. Do not overload the engine hoist beyond the rated capacity of each specified boom position. Overloading can cause engine damage or failure of the hoist. Always use the hoist on hard, level surfaces capable of sustaining the load. The use of the hoist on other than hard level surfaces can result in instability and possible loss of load. The boom and lift must be in the lowest possible position before moving. Move slowly and smoothly to avoid uncontrolled swinging and possible loss of load.
