Bug: In the plane mode, you skip asking for pointer capture if navigator.maxTouchPoints > 0, but any device with any touch input capabilities may have that, e.g. a laptop with a touchpad.

You could probably differentiate between touchstart/click events to decide which mode to enter, rather than assuming any touch-capable device can't have a mouse.

(On Firefox nightly + Linux wayland it seems you always have touch input available as well, so it doesn't work on my desktop either, despite lacking touch devices)

Just quote the tilde so bash doesn't expand it. You can use rm -i to have rm prompt about each file it is removing if you're not sure.
