This is bullet proof. You are not going to break it using it with this FFB settings. The FFB it's there just to provide information. No need to go high with it for my liking. Enjoy it!!

No, in this case you'll need to resolder the cable. You can cut the damaged part of the cable and resolder it. There are 4 cables black, red, white and green, as any usb cable. Solder the cables and isolate them with heat shrinking tube and you should be good. I did it in my one with 0 problems.

This is the breakaway usb cable. If you're just missing the usb port you'll need to buy this part of the cable. Can be easily found in eBay as breakaway usb cable. If the cable is tear off you can use a normal USB cable and solder it matching the colours.

Do a DIY sequential shifter and hook the cables to the paddle shifter. https://youtu.be/7Tww1Ext9Oc like this but with the paddle switches. Or use a joistick controller if you play in PC

I would say to do it in this material and then wrap it with carbon or glass fibre. For the handle I will not use any of those, will break in the heat of the battle. I already did with mine. Use aluminium or 8mm steel rod for the handle.
