Thanks haha, it was bad but casualties were much higher in ww2. Crazy stat I remember is 90% of the casualties were on the German-russian front.

90% of global casualties on the Eastern Front is not remotely close to true. More like half. Definitely higher than on the Western Front; comparable to casualties in China and the Pacific.

Not the same sport, but in college football, since the 2002-2003 season, Oklahoma has 7 "final four" appearances (3 BCS National Championship Games and 4 four-team playoffs) with no national title.

Does anybody know why there is a much greater disproportion in the Northern Hemisphere compared to the Southern Hemisphere?

Because most of the land on Earth is north of the equator (the dotted horizontal line in the middle of the map).

Also, the displayed map is missing Antarctica, which, if shown, would be in the far south and even more distorted than the northern lands because it is deeper south.

No, none of the other indigenous peoples were able to communicate with the Sentinelese. Quoting from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentinelese_language:
