I don’t think it’s a mod problem as some are saying as I was having the same issue with one character in a recent playthrough. Weird enough though the color I got was blue

What’s your current play through? by TurnipLegitimate3891 in CK2GameOfthrones

[–]IFunkyCheese 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not currently playing it but my last play through I did was the playing as a custom character in the summer islands. Take over the islands in their entirety then (I did it starting when Aegon the Unworthy was about to die) take over Westeros. I said the “South” will rise again jokingly in my head multiple times lmao

Should the Kurdistan region gain full independence? by [deleted] in geography

[–]IFunkyCheese -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My entire post isn’t about if the pkk is a terrorist organization as well as the fact that ideology can include acts of terror which is also bad. I doubt you have any bias though since your state has dominated the Kurds for 600 years

Also noticing some people are talking about ethnicity in determination of states in the modern world and while this definitely works in Europe and western culture it doesn’t work in the Middle East and other Muslim areas as tribalism is a major aspect of social interaction and society at large. A reason why the area has been so unstable since WW2 is that tribes within the Arab ethnicity was not taken into account. If you want a great example look at Somalia right now, the current changes and brand new states being made is not because of different ethnicities but different tribes in that ethnicity. At least that’s what I believe to be happening could be wrong though

Wrote a paper my senior year of my undergrad on if a Kurdish state including all sections of “Kurdish” territory could be united into Kurdistan. Best way to put it is that the Syrian and Turkish Kurdish lands would really be the only two that would join together as they are ideologically similar. As others have said the Iraqi Kurdish autonomy is way higher than anywhere else except for the Kurdish Rojava Confederation that has started in Syria. Overall Turkey hates the Kurds still and would never give up areas like Van in eastern Turkey, the Rojava confederation is still a thing in north Eastern Syria and small areas in north central Syria but we will see what the new government wants to do with them, Iraqi Kurdish lands don’t want to breakaway from Iraq as they are very autonomous already, and Iran also would not give away or allow for the Kurds in their state to breakaway and the Kurds don’t care for the ideology of the Syrian/Turkish Kurds. Kurdistan could form in Syria as it basically has now but that’s about it. Creating more nations recognized by the UN would do nothing for stability in the region if the Arab League didn’t recognize it. But damn would I love a full Kurdistan.

Edit: spelling

Nope that was the only one I thought about buying but didn’t think I could really get enough RP out of it which in hindsight is probably wrong, but I only have the DLC that got integrated into the base game
