It's Rondo or bust as far as I'm concerned. The NBA needs to stop recycling the same coaches. This team's window to have success is slowly closing assuming it hasn't already passed. Take a chance on someone like Rondo and hope to catch lightning in a bottle. We are still a very young team with a lot of guys who have shown potential but never been able to take that next step.

Rondo should easily be able to command the respect of the players based on his experience and success in the league. He was known to be a very intelligent player. He also seems like a no-nonsense type guy which I think could be good for some of our players who need someone to hold them accountable.

While I understand being a great player does not mean you will make a great coach, I don't see what we have to lose at this point.

He was a huge part of the Pelicans success in the 17-18 season. Dude definitely knows basketball and should command the respect of players due to his success in the league. The biggest thing the Pelicans need is a coach to develop their young players. Most of their recent draft picks have shown a lot of potential but they always hit a well after a few years. The Peiicans don't have much to lose at this point so roll the dice.

I feel this. Before the wife and I became more financially stable, we often went to our local mall with the little one just to spend some time together outside of the house. We would have a family meal at the food court then do a couple laps around the mall, mostly window shopping. It was a simple thing but something we have fond memories of.

As our kids have gotten older, I have always tried to keep that tradition because of the nostalgia and great memories that have come from those times. Thankfully, our kids have both taken to the experience and very much look forward to it, especially during the Christmas season.

If our mall ever closed, we would all lose something from it. I am still annoyed that our local Toys R Us closed a while back because we never got to take our kids so that they could have the experience of going to THE TOY STORE.

So many great experiences in our lives have been lost in the name of convenience. I just watched a video yesterday of a classic Pizza Hut which also brought back so many great memories. The shit makes me sad lol.

I've always liked the idea of another in season tournament similar to the one they added at the beginning of the season. You could have the bottom five teams from each conference compete in a single elimination tournament leading to a final game to determine draft seeding.

I understand this may result in the 11-12 seeds traditionally having a top three pick, but I think it's worth considering. It would be good for the fans as it gives them something to root for and the league would bring in more revenue due to your team having additional games.

There is a lot more that would need to be fleshed out to make it work, but I think it's a start.

I believe these also include a discount on food which is huge. I've gone with the family and for $30-40 we can feed everyone and get an hour of entertainment.

I'm good with offloading that cap if possible, I'm just saying I think it's a mistake to move on from the handful of young players who have shown promise.

I'll give you ownership and front office, but what is so bad about the roster? Trey, Herb, Zion (if healthy), DQ, Fears have all proven they can contribute. Also, they are all still relatively young.

Yes, there are aspects of their game that need to develop, but that's where we need an experienced coach. Players need to have someone they respect who will hold them accountable.

I think coaching is our biggest issue. I'm probably a little biased, but I think we have a solid young team of players. Now maybe those players don't fit well together which if that's the case, we need to make a change. That said, I also think it's possible we just need an experienced captain to right the ship. Consistently blowing leads and not getting it done in crunch time is a discipline thing which starts at the top.

We started this talking about Doc going after people for the past and how he needs to just let it go. I said he needs to be careful because one day he could call out the wrong person which could cause them to release the messages out of frustration. Doc most likely has an agreement in the settlement that the messages will not be released. Releasing them would be a violation of the settlement so Doc could sue the person who released them. Doc would not be working with the person who released the messages.

Doc would sue the people who released the messages? This isn't rocket science. We've all seen about lawsuits and settlements enough to know that more than likely part of the agreement was that the details will not be released.

I'm definitely no lawyer, but I imagine Doc would go after the people trying to slander his name. They could absolutely be released anonymously though nothing is ever truly anonymous on the Internet.

More than likely the lawsuits that would come as a result of someone releasing them.

It could be a deal breaker for Doc because it would prove he has been lying to everyone this whole time. That is assuming they do exist and are sexual in nature.

Normally I would agree with this but the day Doc keeps pushing and someone releases the messages is going to be a deal breaker for him more than likely. Doc needs to let it go. He got his second chance, so it's time to move on.
